England is ok, we dont really mind american accents, but we start to get excited if we hear a New Zealand accent.

Hehe! I get excited when I hear any accent! Here in Arizona, we hear nothing...even Southern American accents are great to us! But definately not sexy, unlike a New Zealand accent...

I fell madly in love with a guy from England before. He used to get annoyed at me because I would stand there and stare all lovingly at him whenever the poor guy would open his mouth to speak anything at all. (Even if he was mad at me!) I'm a major sucker for an English accent now.

I love the Australian accent...

And us New Englanders are convined we're the one's speaking correctly and everyone else has an accent. It's quite funny. But then again, speech cadence differs from one New England state to the next... go figure. We just like to stick together, I suppose.

Whereabouts are you Socharis?

I'm from Kent, grew up with cockney family, so had cockney accent till i was in my early 20's when it got sort of 'refined' from working in the City (London) and being away from my family.

Other part of family came from Ireland, love their accent, wish it'd been passed down to me!

(also got french, but i don't talk about that! Haha)

We ALL have accents! And we're all the ones speaking correctly.

I just think it's amazing how much English can differ so much in one country, let alone around the globe. There's at least 100 dialects in the US alone! Probably more...

But I still wish I spoke with a brogue:)
