I once had a reading done and this is what the reader called the spread. I think it was 12 cards in a complete circle. Has any one heard of or seen this spread?
It was pretty cool

It might be one of the cycle of the year spreads. There are various ways of reading the 12 cards. One way is one card represents each month. One way of doing this kind of reading is the first card represents the next 30 days, or the next month and so on through the next year.
Another way is each card represents the signs of the zodiak, and each sign represents a part of your life. Heres and example of the 12 cards starting with the first and in order.
what I am
what I have
what I think
what I feel
what I desire
what I analyze
what I balance
what I demand
what I see
what I gain
what I know
what I believe
There are so many ways to read a twelve card round spread that it's hard to know what exact spread your reader was using.
I hope these help though

Thanks so much Middsummer! I love the What I... idea!! :D
I think too that its may have been a 12 card spread for your year ahead or 12 different aspects...
Also it could have been...Did she read with a Thoth deck as this is one of the Thoth's cards.. could of been a spread for that card? Or for the World card with another deck of tarot?

This is in my Elemental Tarot book-- I have yet to try it.
The Astrological Spread
Pictorially, the 1st card is at 9 o' clock, and continues counter clockwise. :) Each represents a House. For the final outcome it says to look at the card that most fits the question, and use the others to expand the interpretation.
House 1: The Questioner
2: Possessions
3: Brothers, Sisters, Neighbors, Short Travel
4: Home and Family
5: Children, love affairs, speculation
6: Work, employers or employees, health matters
7: Partnerships, marriage, social life
8: Other people's or partner's money, shared finance, legal matters
9: moral, ethical dilemmas, religion, learning, lost-distance travel
10: career, acheivement, authorities, reputation
11: Friends, humanitarian ideas, rebellion, non-conformist principles
12: Spiritual matters, caring for others, self-sacrifice, imagination

:) Good luck-- I had really bad luck when I tried it earlier. Couldn't make heads or tails of it. I think it's just a bit too advanced for me or something. :D
