Daily Prayers and Affirmations

Affirmation #1

I dwell within the circle.
I am one with all that is,
All that Was,
All that Will Be.
Goddess Smiles on my mistakes,
laughs with my successes.
I seek the wisdom of the ancients.
I live in perfect love,
and perfect balance.
I walk with the light behind me.
I seek justice for the abused,
strength for the weak,
wisdom for the seeking,
and peace for the ravaged.
I will bring light to those in darkness.
My strength is for those who need it,
My love is for those who want it.
The light of the sun and moon surrounds me,
I walk the path of peace.
My thoughts and actions are befit
a Member of the Craft of the Wise.



Affirmation #2

I affirm my unity with the One.
I declare my love and service to Him
and Her, who is Mother and Father of all.
I am a Pagan.
I am the eye of the storm,
the strength of the ocean,
the tenderness of mother and child.
I stand for balance and love.
I will not run from open emotion
I will not fear the storm
though I stand alone in the rain.
The sun shall warm me,
the moon shall guide me;
Though blinded and afraid,
I will face forever forward.

For When You're Really Ticked Off

We are Wicca.
We are voices in the night screaming justice.
We will not be packed into ideological compartments
for your comfort.
We will not be put on the back burner of time.
We will move like the glacier;
slow, but surely, forever.
We are alive.
We care nothing for your God or your Devil.
Don't pretend we are evil.
Our Goddess has lived for thirty Millennia,
She will live five thousand more.
You may say we kill and maim.
You can say we lie, steal, and manipulate;
But the truth will always hold us steady.
We care little for your lies.
Ignore us, hate us, step on us;
We will not disappear.
And when your hate and your lies fade to memory,
We will still be standing.

Prayer to Gaia

All things turn to dust.
And from dust She arises anew.
With the soul of a God
and the heart of a child
Wise with limitless innocence.
Wind blow the sigh of joy
Rain caress her skin.
Sun warm her heart with gold.
For no-one escapes her caress.

Morning Affirmation

Goddess within me
God around me
Spirit throughout me,
I will complete this day
in balance and love.

When you have been harmed

Hag Goddess of the sky,
The winds of change blow fierce,
Fire burns my heart.
I deserve better!
I will abide by the law of the circle,
and harm you not.
The law of three will turn for me,
May you fare as well.

In Times of Trial

Goddess within me,
Your daughter seeks your aid,
Courage to face this,
Strength to stand,
Love to aid.
