I was driving back through the UK countryside with a friend outside Newport Pagnell last weekend, and as i approached a steep descent in the road i could see mist floating in fields on either side of the road, and more spookily across the base of hill where the road was going through. My friend told me that there are alot of marshlands in the area and floating mist was a common sight, but what got our hair up on the back of our necks was a floating white light in one of the fields near one of the marsh lakes, i can only presume it was a Will-O'-The-Wisp or Jack O' Lantern, its the first time i have ever seen anything like this.
Has anybody else ever seen anything strange or mysterious on your travels?

My mom has a picture of something in her house that was strange. In one corner of the living room is the fireplace...and next to it is a window. My mom could not keep any decorations or curtains on the window or above the fire place. Everything ended up on the floor within a couple of days. Anyhow, she took a picture, of that corner for something or another, and when she developed it there was a glowing white disk floating between the fireplace and window. She scanned it and upon closer examination there was an outline of grayish white within the white sphere that looked liek a horse with a man wearing a cape on it. Also, whenever she brought that picture up on her computer, her computer would do wierd things like freezing up, or programs would open and close on their own. Sometimes clickable buttons on screen would flickerliek they were being clicked continuously. I saw it happen myself. Odd eh?

Merry meet!
Once, before they were married, my mum and dad were taking a walk. They were in the woods in Canada (where my mum's from, so I guess they were visiting). It was late evening/early night, getting foggy, and just as they were about to cross a path/road, they saw something white-ish grey-ish, I suppose sort of spectral looking. It crossed the road and (sry I'm not too clear about this part) I guess continued through the woods on the other side. It had the shape of a Great Dane, so she tells me. The both gave each other a sort of horrified "What was that?" look. She claimed that she doesn't beleive in ghosts. Then she claimed that she thinks it was a ghost. I asked her about these odd contradictory statements and she replied, "Well, I don't beleive in ghosts, but I don't know what else it could have been, but I guess I'll just have to beleive it is something else." Hm. I don't beleive in ghosts either, I'm a very down-to-earth person, but nor do I have any idea what this thing could have been. What really gets me is the whole Great Dane bit. I'd have said will-o-the-wisp, but a Great Dane will-o-the-wisp? The shape really makes it hard to think that it is just some wierd, random, foggy thing. Guh. Even though fog doesn't have a faint glow around it, still... One could invent reasons as to why it would. Argh! Are there will-o-the-wisp Great Danes? I'm so sorry I can't help you with your will-o-the-wisp 'problem' (I guess you'd call it, I mean it is not really a problem, but you understand what I mean, don't you?).
