This spread is designed to help you find what brings you joy and makes you whole.

Shuffle the deck and lay out per the diagram above.

Card 1: This represents what brings you joy and what makes you whole; or, what you need to get there and what you have to deal with; the issues that block your happiness.

The other cards represent the gifts of the four elements, all the ingredients needed to be complete and whole.

Card 2: This card represents the element of earth: meaning the body and material things. This includes basic, simple pleasures, like food, shelter and sex--tangible resources and useful stuff.

Card 3: This card represents the element of water: your intuition, meaningful dreams that can help you define your wants and needs, your soul's work; and your emotional gifts.

Card 4: This card represents the element of air: your intelligence, knowledge you have, the ability through experience to decide and discern.

Card 5: This card represents the element of fire: this is your passion, the source of your energy (or what's blocking it), life, that which energizes and inspires you.

Pay attention to which suits fall in which positions: cards that reinforce the position (for example cups in the water position) indicate strength in that area, whereas suits that oppose the position (for example wands in the water position) may point to a need to work on that aspect of yourself to bring yourself into balance.

1) 10 of Pentacles ~ sigh, a happy family and home! This is a dream of mine but also could be too high up on my list of things to do just now.. but still I cant help it..
2) King of Wands ~ earth ~ This sis a good card (to me) to get here ~ its a pleasure card and a creative, passionate, bold and expressionate card.
3) Four of Wands ~ the ability to work with people and want to work with people helping them and working with them to build something really important and special. for a sense of community ~ family, friends and strangers all together with love. Theres water in the card! As a ship is harboured near the bank where 6 poeople gather talking!
4) Two of swords ~ Fits for air ~ balance and harmony, not being dominant towards people ~ and fearing it from people, fearing confrontations.
5) The Fool! My desire at the moment is for somehting new ~ i dotn know what I just want to do soemthing else.. different new.. go away.. start a new journey.. go on holiday! I need to do this to inspire myself again.

1. Page of Staffs
2. Strength
3. Page of Swords
4. 6 of Pentacles
5. 6 of Cups

Two pages, two 6's, all suits, and one major arcana. Strength in Earth, Swords (fire) in Water, Pentacles (earth) in Air, and Cups (water) in Fire. I'd say this is about as backwards as can be as far as elements..

Joy could be growth (waxing moon), love (butterfly), wisdom (staffs), spirituality (unicorn) or the young man who is my fiance. Probably a combination of all :)

Strength that I should take from my home and family, and my fiance whom I live with.

Swords represent strength as my emotional gift? Could represent my ability to hide my emotions and be strong when needed.

Knowledge to remember my goals - prosperity financially, family wise, career wise, etc. These are the things that drive me and make me happy.

As usual, looking to the future drives me as shown in position 5.

Why are the elements all messed up? Possibly because I'm still driving myself nuts worrying about the future and I need to slow down. I'll be done school in a couple weeks for at least a few months, and I need a break afterwards to relax before I get back on the rollercoaster.
