I went and saw the planet of the apes last night. Has anyone seen it.

I'd give it 3 stars. The special effects were pretty good. But if your looking for a good story line, you might want to spend your 10$ on a different movie. They left alot of holes in the story, and many things didn't make a whole lot of sense, and there was too many things they left unexplained.

I would like to see it, but the original, IMHO, is a classic.:)

I want to see it, but only to be able to loudly complain about how it doesn't and can't measure up to the original. :p

We watched it at home a few weeks ago. Couldn't follow the story, things were left unanswered, I thought it was crap. :)

I'm planning on seeing it a little later in the week. Although now I'm sort of dreading it. :)

Never got to see the whole of the original; always wanted to. :(

My wife and I gave it the "V" rating waiting for the video. However if you haven't seen AI Artificial Intelligence, do so, it was NOT a kiddie movie

Why is it nobody in hollywood knows WHEN TO END A MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!! A movie can be perfectly OK for the whole time, and then this terrible, hideiously unspeakably awful ending appears, ruining the entire experience. If the thing had ended when he climbed into his ship and took off, it would have been fine.

I completely agree there!!! The ending made NO SENSE!!! Hell even if he'd have STAYED that would have been fine. I still think they should have worked the Statue of Liberty in there somewhere...
