Ok guys...need your help.
My friend is due to have a Son soon...she's more than seven months along now..and she STILL hasn't chosen a name. She has a few in mind, Morgan, Logan, and Oren. But she can't decide. Besides these names...she's at a loss. So I thought maybe I'd get some suggestions from you guys. There are a few guidelines, though.
She doesn't want anything ethnically italian (no giuseppe's, giovanni's..or anything).
It must be strongly masculine (she has a very feminine last name)
And She prefers Two-Syllable first names.
Suggestions please?

We had a hard time picking my son's name. My husband ended up naming him Gareth Steven, after a literary character and a name his mother liked. I would have named him Julian but it only sounds manly in Spanish.
I like Austin and Hunter and alot of Gaelic sounding names.

I'm partial to the name Thomas, myself. Then again, that's what I named my first-born, and what I'd wanted to name a child since I was 11.:D I wanted to name the baby "Tayler Andrew", but he ended up being "Phillip Tayler". Thomas' middle name is Raymond. I hated saddling a newborn with such a "horrible" name, but that was his grandfather's name, and my ex's family has this "thing" about passing down male names, soooooo. *sigh*
Another name I love is "Scott", as well as "Preston" ...
My 50 cents.
why am i up so early??
why am i so coherent?!

Thanks Guys...I'll pass these along to her.
So far..she's seriosly considering Logan Connor
I've had my baby names picked since I was very young, too. Luckily..hubby PRETTY much agrees with me on them.
If I ever have a son, he will be Caleb Joseph. I got the Caleb from the movie "Sarah Plain and Tall.." I lovvvvvvvvvved the little boy in that movie. He was SOO cute. Joseph is my Uncle (who passed) s name.
If I have a daughter, her name will be Allorah Raine. Hubby LOVES that one. He says he's never heard such a beautiful name.
If I have another daughter, her name will be Meagan Arianna
And if I have another Son, Liam McCaulay (Mccaulay is an old family name in my line.).

We seemed to have settled on a boys name for when we get around to it :)
Arah Declan (he'd be called Declan, Arah is a family name, all first born boys are called Arah Something and called by their second names)
I like Yse (Ee-sah) for a girl, but dont' know if it's fair to saddle a child with such a hard to pronounce name (by looking at the spelling anyway). I also like Fiona.

hahahahah...wellllll all...time for an update. She had her final sonogram...and guess what???? ITS A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL..after all that work! She was so convinced it was a boy. She even started buying BOY clothes. I kinda warned her about that...told her that there was always a chance it would be born a girl. But...she is a very stubborn Girl...
So...GIRL names anyone???????????

We thought we were going to have a girl. So we picked Isabella Rhiannon. Just in case, we picked Dylan Cutler for a boy..........we had a darling red headed (and I'm talking a full head of hair) baby boy! Since he was born Febuary 26th and a Pisces we thought Dylan was very fitting as it is the name of a Welch sea god. Hubby and I agreed we wanted to stay away from the whole naming the witchlet for any family members......lol.

Interesting. I've always loved the name Elora (sounds like Allorah). I also like Morgan, Amber, Nicole, and Jordyn (as a middle name). For a boy I like Logan, Luke, Benjamin, Jakub, Alexander (nn Xander instead of Alex), and my son's middle name will be Matthew (tradition in my fiance's family of the firstborn son taking the father's first name as his middle name). We're thinking Elora Nicole or Morgan Nicole or Amber Dawn and Benjamin Matthew, Jakub Matthew, or Alexander Matthew.

heheh..willow. Hubby and I thought we'd have the ONLY Allorah (elora) baby out there. Our daughter will be named (if we ever have one)...Allorah Raine. Don't use it or I'll have to beat ya up!!!!! LOL..just kidding (though I really hope noone I know uses it..:) )

I like it spelled Elora better myself, but that's because it reminds me of that movie wherein Elora Danaan is a sacred princess (gee, I wonder where they got the name "Danaan" from.... ;))

LOL...I thought the SAME thing. Yes...I liked the name in the movie too. But I origininally started liking the name Elora from the cartoon Voltron. Elora was the princess. I changed the name though, because it's my way to lengthen and expierament with names, anyway. LOL

Well..she FINALLY decided on a name....
CORAL ROSE .
I'm not so sure how I feel about this...actually...yes...I am. Don't tell her I said this..lol...but...
it's wayyyyyyyy too overwhelming with her last name, which is also...ummmm...floral in nature.
So...........
I'm hoping the baby isn't like...realllllllly into the Tom-boy thing..or she's gonna HATE her name. LOL.

Quite the color scheme. Not to mention floral tones. To each his own... at least until their girly is 18. Who knows, their baby may end up having fun with the name.
My love and I are partial to the name Pandora. (I can already hear the mythology buffs. Nnnnooooooooooooo!:D) We like it. For a nic-name as a little one... Panda Bear. :bubbles:{<in sickening, make me gag baby voice> "Isn't she da cuut wittle Panda Bear"} :bubbles:
