My cards have been making absolutely no sense tonight. I've tried five times and they just keep babbling.

Is it me? Am I having some sort of bad night? Or are my cards rebelling? (heh)

Also, are you doing a reading for yourself, or for someone else? Have you tried the reading for the same person 5 times? If so, have you very recently done another reading for that person? They could be pissed off that you weren't understanding the original message portrayed. :)

I'd been using my favorite deck so much that they were feeling a bit tired. Like Flora suggested, I cleansed mine, put them in order, and I am letting them take a break. Of course, that means that I have to use some other deck, now, but hopefully my cards will still love me after they've regained some energy. :D

It was for myself and I hadn't used them for a bit. :) I think they were just rebelling...

Since it was for yourself, you might want to do a bit of mediation and grounding (more than normal maybe) as well as clean your cards. Also, something I found that works wonders for me... I keep a set of grounding stones in contact with my deck when I'm not using it and I haven't had to clean my cards in 12 years.

I seem to have this problem myself... :) Of course in my case I think it seems from my lack of skill in the Tarot. I've been getting a lot of court cards lately: the Kings, Queens, Knights and Pages. The book that comes with my deck describes these as people and doesn't give much to go on in applying them to a particular situation, so it just leaves me clueless. I've also been getting a lot of swords lately. :huh: I should probably just stick to Astrology! :lol:

How do you cleanse cards, I really want to learn how to use my rider deck. I also have a myan deck but dont know how to use them at all.

Im sensing alot of stress from you, in this thread perhaps you may be "Rushing" your cards,
what Deck are you using? Maybe with everything that is going on it is affecting your aura and that could be why you arent getting a good read?

I have a Dragon Tarot deck. (What else would I have? :p )

I was thinking that maybe it was my emotions, but I don't think so. Well, we'll know for sure in a few days. :)

Try using Rider Wait, just untill your emotions settle .. the Waite Deck uses Universal Achetypes in the symbolism that your subconscious will read...no matter what the weather.

You say you havent messed with your deck in a while, maybe you need time to Bond again and re associate the symbols, as a great meditation, try looking at each of the major arcana, of the dragon deck, and associating it in your mind with the generic Rider Wait Card, and just contemplate the general meaning of the card, but note any other thoughts that come in... you may need to re atune with the Dragons..

She has MANY decks that she uses regularly.

Cleansing them and yourself will help.
Grounding and centering before reading will do wonders.
No matter what anybody tells you.

Those things should help you.

Hematite is the stone I most prefer for grounding, but that's just a personal preference. I'm not big on tools and such but stones and trees have always been helpful to me for grounding. And I didn't go through some elaborate ritual to charge my stones either (just not my style), just a mediation.

I had the same problem a few days ago.
I always keep a few stones in my bag so I cleansed them and let them charge in the sunlight.
I then cleansed my deck, and myself.
They're working great again!
