i had a dream this morning, this is how it goes, please help me to understand it.....
The Legend Of Flower---
it started in a mansion type place, i was visiting a friend, rich ole guy, and we were searching the house for something, we went down into the basement and found a passage to the outside on a cliff by a lake, we went out on to the cliff, i dont remember anything from there but seeing in my mind some symbols, then i remember being at a graveyard and trying to get into a small iron fenced in portion of the place, this fenced in portion was guarded by a white bull, pure white, when we shut the fence on the bull, shut him in i mean, the gate went into a spin, like a revolving door type, and the bull was in it and knew how to use it where we didnt, anyways, the bull ended up outside the gate in another part of the cemetery, the bull came towards us again, so we couldnt get to the book and coffin that lay inside, when we got into the graveyard, the portion that was guarded by the bull, we searched for the book, as they were searching, the other two males that were with me, i had heard something, so i stopped by a grave and heard this legend being told to me like a warning from a monk buried there...
"with my death the book was sealed under my coffin, so that the power of flower would never be touched again"
the other pieces of the legend i remember are as below....
when flower came last the children had called her out, as she was released the face of flower went towards the children, ailing them all and perishing again before the spell was sealed shut by us, the children werre the children of the town, but they were buried beside flower as her children, they became her children when they perished under her spell.
Flower's own legend is this... flower's son was ill, the townspeople had put him to death for fear of it spreading, but now we know it was a normal childhood thing, so flower had killed herself for the loss of her son, and vowed revenge on all the townspeople and anyone who lived there bearing children, she created a book of shadows with malevolent spells in it, one being the spell of "flower" to bring her back for revenge, the name betrays the purpose to lead unsuspecting people to think it is a harmless flower spell. until they recite the poem and she is let out.....
that is all of the dream i can remember besides two symbols from the book that flower created. can anyone help me determine what this means???? please?? it repeated itself twie in my dreams, i saw the dream twice is what i mean. any advise would be helpful...
Thanks

Wow! That's some dream.
The message I'm getting is that perhaps the flower is you. Flowers can pertain to one's natural and inherent talents that should blosson if utilised. Maybe the dream is saying that you are scared of your talents and denying them because you are scared to embrace them totally?
Just a guess. If you want I can try to do a reading on the dream for you. PM me.

Nuah sweetie,
I was reading your dream and had some thoughts on it : ) (Besides being a wonderful dream...)
The dream seems to me to be actually two separate dreams (one a dreamlet or NREM dream while the other seems to be a REM dream). The feelings and wordings of two parts differ from the mansion/cliff part to the graveyard/flower part. Sometimes several dreams can become one upon waking...but this is just an idea here....lets continue on as if they were one....
The mansion and rich guy would seem to suggest some kind of monetary wish or desire (the old saying of how the wealthy dream of dilapidated shacks with the less financially stable dream of wealth may be pertinent here). The descent from the upper mansion to the basement signifies moving away from this materialistic vision, but upon arriving at a cliff, there are a couple of things.. (a feeling here would be helpful e.g. anxiety or exhilaration) one is a height which might imply being above something or proceeding onto something higher. The other is the lakes which provide a scene of beauty and tranquility, albeit far away.
'Then I remember' is the phrase which makes me think these dreams are disconnected, but we shall carry on regardless here.
Upon arriving at the graveyard (which we will get to later) you see a bull, which would tend to symbolize stubbornness, intelligence (since he knew how to get out of the spinning gate), and purity and goodness. All of these qualities you possess (either consciously or subconsciously) to a degree, but are represented here by one animal (perhaps the bull is a mention of your masculine side). Another way we can see this is qualities you perceive in a male (thus the bull) person close to you. The fact that you got away from it might suggest that you are trying to close off a part of yourself or another with those qualities...
Searching is a word that comes up in both parts of the dream and I think this is significant in that it implies a search for something on your part...either material or spiritual. (I think spiritual myself).
And the fact that you are searching with friends (possibly spirit guides or actual friends?) is a good sign that you are being helped in your search.
The warning by the voice (which was by a monk signifying wisdom and purity) contains two words which I see as important here ; death and flower. Which are then followed by your own explanation to a degree of both in the form of the legend of flower.
Death is represented well here, though as we all know, it symbolizes change also. The flower and death seem almost intertwined in the legend part, but amidst the murkiness we hopefully shall find some clarity : ) The two overriding feelings here are the anger (symbolized by a revengeful flower) which are feeling expressed by you perhaps...maybe towards children of your own or others - or perhaps students of some kind. Perhaps you are not even aware of this, but your subconscious may be.
The second feeling I understand here is revealed by the graveyard, death and flower. The graveyard and death I think are related to some level of a psychic ability that you possess, and although it does not sound like it frightens you (which is good I feel) it is something that the flower in time will bloom from.
There are also all kinds of other things mentioned within this dream (some not clearly written like the symbols you saw) but I believe these are the foundations of the dream.
So you see sweetie, you are both the intelligent bull and the blossoming flower (and many other things as well : ) ). I hope this has helped you.

Thank you so much sweetie, I didn’t think you’d post another message. But since you did, I have just a tiny bit more I’d like to add (I was in a hurry when I wrote the first time : ) ). First, I think there may be another level to this dream (which I’ll get to in a bit) as this and most all dreams exist on at least more than one, if not many, levels.
But before we get into that, I wanted to take a slight diversion here and cover some of the possibilities of the meanings of the symbols. One thing I see is that in all but one of them is the triangle or pyramid shape, which is a safe and rigid structure that can be used for overall protection for oneself or family. Many mediums, channelers, wiccans, etc. have used symbols like this as protection of some sort for centuries. The ‘rays’ that seem to be emanating from them may be a sign of outward light shining from within (or many other things symbolism is rich here). Now if we are to see this as a symbol of protection, we can look into what is inside the structure (this is only my interpretation here as I am sure there may be scores of people –hehe some on this site -who agree or disagree with me including yourself).
The first contains a tree, which could symbolize the nature of things or nature itself, among others. The fourth I think may be a hybrid of two different protective symbols – The dot inside a circle is another protective sign (something akin to the center of infinity or useful in grounding yourself), but here it is represented in a triangle that takes a little from both protective symbols. I think you get the idea here, so I won’t blather on and on… although I probably could and it might end up all being useless (or at least long-winded) : )
But the main reason for the comment here is something strange, which occurred to me after I wrote the original dream interpretation. This other level of the dream may have something to do with the symbols or the people have used them over the years. I feel also that this other level of the dream may only be represented in parts here as it is not fully realized (and may not be for some time hun). Something in the legend of flower part of your dream brought to my mind a strong picture of a place and something that happened there during a time of persecution or a change in Christianity (a very long time ago). This place has a few trees near it almost as if it is near the edge of a forest. There are several stones in the grass now where buildings once stood but no buildings are there now. I also get the feeling of disease or plague of some sort that affected this settlement/town during this time. A person there may have been negatively influenced by the happenings in this location. In short, I feel as if this may be related to a past life. If it would be you, this past life may have some bearing on your own present life…it may have affected it or be affecting it … but that’s just my humble opinion…a past life regression specialist would probably give you more insight on this.
I feel as though I’ve rambled on for long enough now : ). Perhaps this may shed some light on something that you may be experiencing or may open your mind to other things; this I do not know. Even though I understand you do tarot and spirit readings, I feel part of the dream here is showing a stronger connection between the spirits and you or you and your past lives than you currently experience….one of which (or both) will blossom for you more than you know. Either way…I hope it makes some sense somehow : )

hi again Gilli :) yes i can see where that happens, in a reading i had not long ago about 3 weeks ago, i was told one of my past lives. im too lazy to tell that whole story so ill just put it in breif, i was a witch in the 1600's no known name yet, no known accomplices yet, except my friend who killed herself in this life in 97, she was there in that life as well and passed b4 me as well, but i was taken into a circle under 3 others wings, so to speak, and they taught me what i needed to know so i could continue to practise. we were in the woods she saw when a huge storm blew up and killed my three comrades, i had gotten away from death in that life by ducking under a tree in a ditch. sounds unusually close to the dream huh? well in any case, i am still afraid to be alone outside in the dark, anywhere, not just woods, but woods especially i am afraid to be alone in at night, i have a tremendous fear that "something" is going to come out and get me. i also have a slight fear of heights and keep having "floating or flying" dreams, i also dreamt of an alen baby that night when i dreamt of flowers legend. this morning i dreamt i had my hair cut and cared for in preparation for meething someone, as well as i went shopping for "dream catchers" i went looking for beads, hoops, and twine to make the catchers myself. i was actually shown in my dream this morning how to make one by an indian marketplace somewhere. it was pretty cool, but im getting off topic, sorry lol, back to what i was saying, the interpretation sounds about right, i do mix alot of symbols for my own spells and purposes, most often they just "come" to me out of nowhere, almost as if i knew it before but i figure im nuts anyway so it doesnt make much difference. as far as the protection thing i just got a job, so maybe the extra cash is a way that the dream showed protection? and its funny you say that about the times changing and the diseases and such about the dream, because that is exactly what two other people said about my past life i told u about up there ^ in this letter lol, and i believe you are right on both things, that life, was and STILL is effecting this life. alot of things are soooooooooo similar. but thank you for replying its always nice to know that i had an interesting dream lol (even if i do think im crazy) :)
