OK my daughter asked me if there were any names for the Sun God and I said Ra, the Egyptian God. For some reason it was the only one that came into my head.
So here's the question do you pronounce it as in ra-ra-sis-boom-ba or ray?
This little bit of info has seriously slipped my mind and I couldn't figure it out for the life of me.

for soe reason it is becoming more popular to to call the sun god Re in the archaeological community, they can do this as Antient Egyptions didnt use vowles.

but you pronounce Ra as the normal "r" sound and the "a" as "argh"

and you pronounce Re as ray

Everytime I think of Ra, I think of a bumper sticker I saw once...

"Anhk if you love Ra"

I think that's how you spell "anhk" or is it "ahnk"? Oh well, you get the picture...
