Hello! :bubbles: I am not even sure how to ask this question but I'm gonna give it a shot. I am trying to find a culture or a path that I know nothing about, I only feel things about it. I guess I would be Wiccan, but I don't agree with everything in Wicca, so I just call myself a witch. I am interested in learning about the Gypsy and Indian cultures, they seem to really call to me so I would love to read about the magick peoples of these cultures. I only know a little Greek and Celtic, but I don't identify with them too well. Help please! thanks:fpeace:

As far as I know, gypsies are incredibley eclectic, picking up bits of info as they travel.
Their magic is a "folk magic" rather than the "high magic" of wicca
The Anglo-Saxons were also a folk-magic culture; perhaps you could take a look at some of their stuff.

Beyond that, I dont have a clue! :fpipesmok

Hummm, maybe look into Stregha? I've heard some Gypsy stuff comes from there but I could be wrong. Do you mean American Indian or East Indian? East Indian would also tie into the Gypsy thing because like Macha said, they took a lot from different cultures due to their nomadic lifestlyes.

Hi, thanks guys!!! I meant east Indian. By your descriptions, I can see why ecclectic cultures call to me. I consider myself to be eclectic too. I use what works because I don't follow a path, but I will look into Stregha today! Thanks for your help!
