Ok, so I took this vacation trip to South Dakota to see the sights/monuments and everything and happened to get poisoin ivy, I think... I may have got it from a picnic area that we were at. Umm.. how do I get rid of it?... it usually doesn't effect me at all. I think I scratch it in my sleep, 'cause It's spreading in little (and big) dots on my legs... some of them look like they're filled with puss and stuff... any help?

I think calamine might help ease the itching...

oatmeal and buttermilk bath! But make it as cool as you can stand, because heat will not help... it can make it worse, especially hot water.

This won't *cure* you but it will ease the itching and inflammation a bit. Good luck and feel better!

Loopy is right, Calamine lotion works well for itching and things like poison ivy. I had cedar poisoning before and that lotion did wonders. You can get it at most drugstores/pharmacies. Its a pink thick lotion that smells odd, usually in a small bottle. Ask the pharmacist. Best of luck with it.
