I have been wanting to get this deck since looking at a popular tarot site. The pictures are beautiful but I was wondering if this would be a good one for beginners and pretty easy to understand. I have the Rider-Waite deck..but I haven't bothered with it because I don't like anything about it..I absolutely hate looking at the pictures!!!!..lol
So what do you think about the Osho Zen Tarot for the beginner as far as understanding the meanings ..ect.?
Heres the link with the beautiful images! Osho Zen Tarot (http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/osho-zen/)
Thanks,

I had the Rider-Waite deck for several years before I acquired the Osho Zen....I found the images in the Zen deck infinitely easier to read...and they are just plain beautiful cards.

I have the deck and can honestly say that they are one of the easiest...and truest...I've ever used or come across. Very well rounded interpretations and explanations.
It'd probably a good next step for beginners. It'd help you learn to recognize the Major and Minor Arcana w/o having the names right in front of you.

I LOVE this deck, and actually it was my first.
The thing to remember is that it is not a "traditional" tarot deck. Some of the meanings are a little... deeper, or require more insight, I guess, than an average deck. It was worth it to me though, most definitely!
But its great, and if you want it, I'd say go for it. :)

I have these cards and also the book Tarot in the Spirit of Zen by Osho. The book includes twenty-two major arcana pop-out cards from the Osho Zen Tarot. These cards are small but for anyone who likes to read with just majors or to use these cards for one card extra insight, these are perfect!
Paid $21.95 for the book Canadian.
