Hello
I'm MoonDancers.... and I'm new to the fourm.
How I was introduce to wicca, was from my best friend. She introduce me to wicca with tarrot cards and the crystal ball. She showed me how to work with them. I have always been intriged by wicca. I still have a lot to learn and I hope all of you can help me...

May I ask, how all of you where introduce into wicca or pagan?

I know there are all kinds of diffrent witches and I'm interested in learning about all of them.

I enjoy the tarot cards, crystal ball, reading about wicca and almost anything, ice skating, asstort. of excercies, nature, camping, animals, taking pictures, music and asortment of diffrent things.

Please introduce yourselves every one. I'd like to meet and get to know all of you.
thank you,
and may you have gentle breezes by you always,
Moon Dancers.

Bright Blessings and welcome MoonDancers!!

I've been interested in Wicca and other things for a few years. One day I decided to learn and started reading everything I could get my hands on. I believe I have now found my path but i will continue to read and learn, maybe combining traditions here and there.

I'm sure you will feel right at home here. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, so jump right in!!

I won't go intot he gory details, but I had to realize two things to move onto a Pagan path:
1. My old faith wasn't working for me anymore. That makes it sound a lot simpler than it really was, but that's what it boiled down to.
2. My heart leaps for joy when in the outdoors - the forest, specifically - in a way that only a divine force could do, leading me to think that an Earth-based spirituality is the way to go for me.

Welcome to MW!

If I remember correctly my interest in Wicca and witchcraft in general came from my great-grandmother who had all sorts of superstitions. I was constantly asking why she did odd things and had little sayings for everything.
Yes, I was the kid who always had to know everything. :crown:

Hello, MoonDancers! I became Pagan about a year/year and a half ago after a friend of mine, who was Wiccan at the time, introduced Paganism to me. After a lot of research and contemplation, I realized that I have had Pagan beliefs all my life. Ever since then, I have felt a sense of fullness, as if I have embraced a missing part of myself.

Hope all goes well for you, and welcome to the community! :)

Merry Meet *waves*

First, welcome and it's so nice to meet you! I am still trying to learn everything I can...I too, have realized that my old faith is no longer working. My family spends most of the warm months camping in nature and around water and I have always been most happy around both. So this is a natural change for me...it's just a lot of information to take in and sort out...education is a good thing. I hope you enjoy it here *hugs*

I've been exploring paganism for several years now, after being agnostic since I was a teenager.

Welcome to MW.. I'm Elise. I found the Pagan path almost by acident.. I'd been in organied religion all my life, but always thought something was missing and something wasn't right..
I finally came to the realization that the Bible didn't hold "perfect answers", that any God who insisted I stay married to a verbally and emotionally abusive alcoholic wasn't the kind of God I should listen to.
So I started looking, reading etc and realized how calming walks in the woods were, and how much I enjoyed plants, planting, gardening. I also realized tat for years, long before I knew of the Goddess, I'd been a "moon worshipper", soaking up moon's rays especially when it was full, taking walks after dark etc.. It sort of all came together when I realized this was what Paganism and Wicca were all about, and when it hit me that this is what the Indians used to do..
