Back from the Beach

Hey y'all~
I went to the beach with my two children and my mother on Saturday, and returned last night. Whew!!! :sunny:We had a great time....spent lots of time in the water, took a boat to Cape Lookout and went shelling , went on a "Haunted Beaufort" tour and went to Blackbeard's house, and to a 300 year-old haunted cemetary where me and the kids left toys on a little girl's grave who is a very active spirit in the :ghostie: cemetary. And of course, ate lots of seafood and fudge.

Also, we visited my maternal and paternal grandmothers on the way to and from the beach. We got home late last night so now the unpacking begins...ugh:crylaugh:.

Just wanted to say hi :smile:. Two days before we left my adaptor on my laptop died, so I've been sans internet for a week! Got lots o' reading to do!

I so love the beach. However here in UT. we do not have beachs........we have old smelly salt lakes. Sighs.

I haven't been on a trip with my mother since I was a teenager, and don't recall speaking to each other on that one. We actually had a good time, and I only had to drink a couple of daiquiris the whole time!!
