Hello Everyone! I need... something... I am not sure exactly what I am asking for but this seems to be the only section concerning support.
I am in the navy, sworn in and everything. I am soo excited and I am soo nervous all at once. I leave for Chicago next month to go to boot camp and my nerves are just building and building.. and when I get nervous I eat everything in sight! I call it my "See Food" diet.
The problem is- in order for me to stay in, i have to maintain certain fitness.. and with me being so nervous i am scared i will get there and they will say "Woman you have gained too much weight!" ... probably just the nerves talking but I still wish there was something I could do. I thought maybe you guys could be very helpful.
Blessed Be

Ok, i know what your going through, my brother Daniel did the same thing.... All you got to do is just try to occupy yourself by doing workouts, so you won't find the food, and at the same time, you'll burn any extra calories....
Hope my advice helps, and have a great time and be safe...

Get out and walk walk walk...mind you if it were easy we would all be slim and trim.
When you are done boot camp you will be "Hot"(or perhaps Hotter). It's a shame we all don't do Boot camp every year. It would save on health care.

What are you talking about? I am already hot! hahaha, jk- am not THAT conceited. You are right though- boot camp would save on health care, it would also help with manners. Well- the naval boot camp would... I have a few friends who have already gotten out and they said manners were enforced. Like table manners and all. I thought it was kinda weird at first but I guess it is kinda cool.

You Rock to, and manners are great..I have table issues with people...like chewing with your mouth open for all to see...ick...
I also think it's great how they teach you to help each other to help yourself.
But best it's the How they make yo push yourself. I think when it's over you will be like most and be a bit sad.

I hope so. I know that alot of people say they met some of there best friends when they were in, I hope I am not the girl who complains all the time and writes the sad letters home about how miserable I am and all. You know there is always one. I took your advise though- I know today alone I have walked somewhere between 5-10 miles. Which is pretty good for and off day. Thanks!
