View Full Version : Incorrect Reflection

Klucky
July 2nd, 2004, 12:40 AM
I had two odd occurrences happen to me today. The first was when I was walking past my mother's full-length mirror. It was casting a reflection of me exactly as I was, only my sleeves were pushed up. I knew for a fact my sleeves were not pushed up on the physical me, and even looked down to make sure. But the reflection me still had her sleeves pushed up. I never push my sleeves up. I have absolutely no idea why that happened. It probably is something trivial, but I'm the kind of person that will go nuts if I can't find explanations.

My other odd occurrence I put in the Science part of MW. I would provide the link for it, but I'm not sure if that's against the rules.

If you read both my occurrences, I would like to ask you if you think they're somehow related. I don't know. I just need explanations, durnit! :)

I don't think so. Wow....maybe they are connected? How very strange.....maybe them mirror was reflecting your thoughts? Did you want your sleeves pushed up?

Just a thought,Klucky...maybe something is telling you to "push up your sleeves and get to work" on something?
Telekinesia on the same day...well, something is trying to get your attention, whether from within or without...

Klucky...please put this in a diary... and let us know if anything like this happens again..also, look in the background..maybe it is you , but in another time and place..which could be a collective memory trying to surface.

My 2 cents Klucky.

Its all an extention of you. Klucky, meet Klucky. Your spirit is communicating and acting out for you. Since this is new...I believe your spirit has said hello!!!!
I would imagine you feel kinda good inside. Kinda like, I want to play with this, kinda amazed. Hard to explain. If you feel that I may be making sence to you let me know. :)

If you feel I am off track, I probably am! :)

Note: to me spirit is pure, unlimited energy!!!!

Ooooooo! Try and do that again!
All I can so is make stuff break from a distance when really angry. Then again I think it's more that I get so cranky that people get nervous and start to make mistakes! That is soooo cool! Practice!

Weird, though it's probably just a mistake on the part of the people who work on the other side of the mirror.

"The sleeves! You forgot the sleeves!"

"It's too late! She's coming!

"Maybe she won't notice... Oh no!!!"

"I am so going to get fired for this!"

I have MAYBE an explanation for the pencil... posted there... but this... If it was someone else I'd say they were mental. If you hadn't double taked and still SAW the same thing I'd say it was a trick of the light you caught out of the corner of your eye... as is I have no explaination. Maybe Nighthawk is on the right track. Or maybe is a twilight zone pseudo science kinda thing. We know that alternate dimesion exist. So maybe somehow you saw into one of these dimesions... and there is right now another Klucky... going... dammed weird... I KNOW my sleeves were rolled up.

Do you know how sometimes you have a close call, you just miss gettng whacked by a car crossing the street or something? Sometimes it doesn't phase you and other times it really shakes you up? My theory is this. Those times it really shakes you up is because in a bunch alternate realities or dimesions... um... it wasn't a close call... it was a curtain call...

Or it could be the poeple who work in the mirror... Djiril that was too funny!

You people crack me up.

For both occurrences, I didn't feel any different than any other day. I'm always somewhat tired because of CFS which is apparently caused by a tumor. Maybe that has something to do with it?

As an extra little thing, I've always had the problem of bursting lightbulbs when I turn on the switch. But only when I'm angry. *shrugs* And not "bursting" as in blowing up entirely, but the little wire inside blows so it doesn't work anymore. But I know other people are capable of doing it, too, although I don't remember the explanation for it. Something about a natural electrical current in the body?

Klucky, I have to ask...How could that explanation explain the reflection in the mirror? Currant has nothing to do with a reflection!

I guess it was a confused look, just like the real me. Everything was exactly the same except for the sleeves. It wasn't like two different Kluckys in which the other didn't move. When I moved, my reflection moved exactly. *shrugs*

Klucky,

This had my eighteen year old daughter and I completely flipped out one day... well, actually there have been a few times we've talked about it since, and it still flips us out.

Go to your bathroom and stand in front of the mirror. Lift your right hand and use it to touch the mirror. Now look at your reflection and imagine yourself being that reflection, looking out from that vantage point. You'll notice that the "mirror you" is using their *left* hand to touch the mirror, not their right hand. If you notice landmarks behind you (photos on the wall behind you; the layout of the bathroom such as which side the door is on, etc) in relation to the position of "mirror you"'s reflection, you'll see that that's screwed up, too. It gets really screwed up the more you try to figure it out, LOL. Eventually my daughter and I were saying (Standing next to each other and looking at our reflections in the mirror) "Who ARE those people, and why are they messing with our minds?!" LOL

Reading your first post gave me a very bad feeling. I checked your stats, you're fairly young, yes?? The pencil deal is not related. It's more in the category of you're mind was distracted and didn't use common controls to accomplish a task. This is common in the younger folk. The older you get, you lose that ability and wish you still could achieve it. ;-) Don't lose it.

For the mirror, personally I don't believe that so harmless. I don't know if you are on your own or still "at home" but I would perform a banishing ASAP. Then I'd block either the 4 room corners or the whole house (from outside at the four corners) with hematite stones. Either by placing them in the room or burying in the yard. Remeber to invite those you wish before setting the seal (ie. faires or whatever)

You've heard of dopplegangers and the such. Whatever you saw may also have been confused, but maybe not for long. If it was still there after a second look, it wasn't a flight of fancy. Take care. :ggrief:

in theory, a doppleganger is created by a person, it is an astral manifestation of a person created by the mind for use in astral and mental projection.

Well, first off I typoed. It is Doppelganger E before L. Its a German word I believe. Means something like Shadow Self or some such. There are a lot of theories as to what one is. The best would be for you to look it up and decide for yourself. Both of the previous answers are considered correct by different factions. It is however, another you so to speak. One that usually isn't actually there or at least can't be touched. They haven't been seen to talk I don't think. But look real.

They are said to be manifested from an individuals mind. Others say they aren't. Up for debate I guess. They have been seen both in mirrors by the individual themselves, or walking around by others in the family. There are some good accounts on the web of some famous cases.

Nobody is really sure what they are, as they can not be tested scientifically. However, they have been documented

But I don't know what a doppleganger is.
