Need healing

I've never been one for asking for help, but I'm getting desperate. On May 25th, I had a hernia repair and removal of excess skin on my abdomen, all leftovers from having my triplets. Since then, a portion of the incision in front has opened up, and just continues to get bigger and deeper. You can see photos on my weblog at http://tummytuck.blogspot.com. The majority of the incisions and scars have healed very nicely, but on my front, I have a hole more than 1.5 inches long, an inch wide, and over an inch deep. Every time I see the doctor, he debrides it and makes it bigger. I can't find a naturopath in the Lansing, MI area to consult with, so I'm stuck right now following the surgeon's advice of packing it with saline-soaked gauze. As today is full moon, I'm asking for healing energy to be sent my way. I have four small children and a blind husband to care for, and I need to start getting better. If you have insurance, you need to see an Infectious Disease doc. He'll be able to tell you whats best to do in this situation. Its true that they can't close you up with all that infection. Healing works from the inside out....and they need to keep an eye on it and continue to debride it. I assume you're on antibiotics. Have they cultured it at all?

After a trip to the ER yesterday for uncontrolled bleeding, they've referred me to the hospital's wound care center, and I'll see them next week. They haven't cultured the wound directly, but they did run a variety of blood labs yesterday, including hemoglobin and white cell count. They sent me home with another round of antibiotics, too, because now it has this terrible smell. I just feel so funky the last day or so, like I'm on the painkillers even when I'm not. But I'm not running a fever or anything.
