It finally happened

I just got a call from my boss, a lady I love like a sister. My FMLA has run out and the big wigs are not letting her keep my position open. . .which means, I lose my job next week.

Any positive energy you could send my way. . .as well as any prosperity energy - to help pay the bills now, and any healing energy - to help get me through this MG crisis. . .would be greatly appreciated.

I love my job. . .and it makes me very sad to have to leave it. . .

I hope a new big door opens again soon. Stress wasn't what you needed and losing a job you love is awful. I lost mine last year, and still miss it. Though because of that I moved to a new place, and I just love it. So maybe something good will come of it.

Thank you all for your thoughts. I had to go clean out my office today. It was very difficult and I have spent the better part of the last week crying. I held it together today until I had to say goodbye. Then all bets were off.

No. I have dealt with a lot of stress in my life. . .two bi-polar kids in and out of the hospital or trying to hurt me or themselves. . .one schizo ex who wanted to kill me and another who was into kiddie porn and wouldn't have known the truth if it had bitten him on the butt. . .four older brothers - all of which abused me (some sexually, some physically, all emotionally). . .life has just sucked for a long time - but it has not been all bad.

This illness is most likely a congenital disease that just did not get diagnosed or present as seriously until recently. This job was my refuge, but alas my FMLA ran out.

My husband and I went to therapy today and the doctor hit it on the head. . .I feel hopeless right now. I have to try to keep that from becoming feeling worthless. My job was what I had been working for. . .trying to get better. Now, that is gone and I have to find something else as a goal.

I have found myself vacillating between hope and despair - feeling good and feeling like crap. . .I know there is a medium and I have to find that place.

Thank you all for your concern. . . I know in my heart it will be okay. . .I just have to convince my mind of that now.
