I had this dream some time back, and recently thought it to be about my wife and an old ex of mine (the ex being the blonde distractor, my wife being luna), as it kind of fit our story.
However, recently, after finding my pagan bone, I've been able to see a completely different side of it. Christianity being the young religion, distracting me from the Moon.
A note on the Omen of Lights: I often have sky-scape dreams about stars and the moon. Lots of weird stuff in the sky, and in this dream there was a giant constolation bearing down on me as I was wandering.
Well, here it is. Do give it a read :)
I was travelling down my road of life, unaware of where exactly I was going, or what exactly I was giong there for. I was wandering a wilderness, and I came upon a mysterious brothel. There I found a group of mysterious women, to all of whom I became attached.
There were two that snared me the most. There was the beautiful eldest of them all, and her name was Luna. I had the strangest feeling that I had loved her before. There was the youngest of them, a girl with blonde hair. I do not know her name, for I never cared enough to ask.
Just as I was falling in love with Luna, she went out to look for something in the woods and never returned. I stupidly began a relationship with the youngest, but after a matter of weeks I realised with whom my love truly belonged.
So it was that I sat out with the Omen of Lights in the sky, to find Luna and confess to her my undying love. At some point, I caught a glimpse of her at the edge of the forest, and I cried out to her and ran after her. But she had disappeared into the forest. As I ran through the woods, tears were welling into my eyes and it became hard to see.
I was about to give up hope when I emerged from the forest onto a small beach-like area of what seemed to be a great lake. There was a large raft-like boat and it was piled high with decomposing bodies of animals and people. There was a horrible stench in the air.
That was all on my left, and on my right there was a small mound, and Luna was there, sitting with her back against it.
She was crying, and her hair was falling in her face and she was covered in dirt and leaves, as if she had been knocked or dragged on the ground. I ran to her, and she looked up at me sadly. No words were spoken. A few yards off there was a small hut on the shore, and I heard a door open. A man came walking out. He was a skeleton, and he was wearing old ratty clothes and a cowboy hat. Over his shoulder he was carrying a body.
Luna stared at him.
"What is he doing, Luna?" I asked.
"He is claiming your bounty."
As the man walked by, I saw that the body over his shoulder was my own. I was dead. I realised then that the reason of my travelling was to find my life. And in finding luna, in finding her love, in loving her, I had found my life. I yelled at the skeleton, and he turned around and dropped my body. My soul entered into my body and I was alive again.
