I've been using vitamin E oil on my husband's chicken pox scars. Its the strongest I could find and is working very well. I was wondering if anyone knew if it would be safe to use on my 13 month old son and if you can get poisoned by ingesting too much?

I don't see anything in my nutritional healing book that says too much Vitamin E on the skin can be harmful. If itching is a problem still , I would recomend a cool ginger bath.
Happy healing!

No itching anymore but thanks for the ginger bath idea, my daughter has yet to get the chicken pox. They were exposed at different times.

When it's you daughters turn (I'm a mom too, I know how that goes) also try a chamomile bath for itching

Another thing to try for scars, and even pain *bruises, sore joints even arthritis ive heard* is Edgar Cayce's suggestion to use peanut oil. (note: This is for allready healed scars, it will gradually make the scars go away, i don't think you should apply it to open wounds, I can't remember so better safe than sorry.)
Get the purest peanut oil you can find, rub it over the scars daily, the skin will soak it up fast, its not 'greasy' like most oils either, it doesn't feel annoying. (I can't stand really sticky oily things on my skin unless nessasary). I highly suggest reading Edgar Cayce's books to everyone here, they are filled with really unique remedies, all the ones my mother & I have tried worked.
