Hi! I'm new to the forums.
I started earnestly following a pagan path in 1999. I received 1st degree from a local Wiccan coven, but it and I have both changed direction since then, so I'm now primarily a solitary, although I do often work with 2 or 3 of my (coven) sisters. Part of that coven is hiving off, and I hope to pursue 2nd degree with the new hearth.
I consider myself 'just' a pagan witch, with Green/Traditional/Irish leanings. I'm fascinated by history, archaeology, folklore, and religion.
I live in Upstate NY with my husband and 13 month old daughter. I'm also a stay at home mom, a breastfeeding advocate, reader, writer, and lover of all things Domestic. (Except cleaning, har har.)
Looking forward to getting to know you all. :fpraiseyo

Welcome fellow NY-er! I too live in what people from NYC consider "upstate" rockland county to be exact. Do you live further north? I used to spend summers up by Genesseo.
Welcome to the looney bin. Always nice to find a fellow 'home-stater' here on the boards.

Even further north than Geneseo, actually! I live in the Rochester area.
It's funny; I think 99% of New York is "upstate." ;)

oh cool! I have family in Rochester and LeRoy. My grandparents lived in Mt. Morris and one of my bestest buds EVER lives in Lewiston.

Welcome from Buffalo! I love Rochester, it's such a beautiful city.
I'm about to be a mommy myself (in November) and plan on breastfeeding. Unfortunately I've got about 2 more years before I can be a stay-at-home mom, but that's the plan. I love domestic things, too (even cleaning, LOL- I'm a FLYbaby)! Can't wait to have more time to cook and maybe have a garden!
I look forward to getting to know you better! I think you'll like it here.

hehe Well, yeah, I've been doing it in stops and starts for over a year and I still don't have stable routines or anything... But I am much less stressed when I do clean. :smileroll
