there was that... lol

and then there was the tornado that was right over us but didn't touch down. that was fun. oh.. and car trouble. lol. the goddess didn't want us to leave yet, so because of the weather yesterday we ended up staying.. :D just another day to torment hawk..

More than a dozen tornadoes touched down in north central Kansas Wednesday night---but straight line winds are suspected of actually doing the most damage.

In all, the National Weather service reported 17 tornadoes in the line of storms that moved across that area.

High winds ripped the roof of the gymnasium in Munjor, in Ellis County.

One home was destroyed outside of Hays.

Power outages are causing problems across that region. The town of Victoria has gotten electricity restored, but the mayor is asking the town to conserve water. However power was slower coming on in other counties, including Ellis and Trego.

The first round of storms Wednesday night also hit Beloit hard. Winds knocked down trees and damaged buildings in part of the town.

And the Highway Patrol says high winds blew five tractor-trailers off Interstate 70 between Hays and Russell. Some of the drivers needed hospital care.

That's cause there were so many little bitty twisters. If even a couple of them had gotten together they would have made a tornado that was more than twice as big. That might get scary if the bunch of you were ever able to concentrate your energy instead of having it be so scattered. ;)
