New to the Group ~ My introduction!

Hello All ~ I'm new to the community and thought I'd introduce myself. My name's Mary (if that wasn't obvious already, lol.) I'm a 35 year old married mother of a beautiful 4 1/2 year old little girl and live in North-central Wisconsin, USA with my husband of 12+ years... I've been a solitary practitioner of Wicca for just almost 13 years. My loves are my family (of course), reading, learning, sharing, meeting new people on and off line, my web communities, Mother Brigit (Brighid), etc. etc. etc.

I look forward to getting to know, learn, and share with you all.

lol! Well, mines only 4 1/2 so I still get away with calling her "My baby" most the time. Every once in awhile she'll say "I'm not a baby no more Mom. Don't you know that?"... hehe

I waited until I was 30 to have my first, so I'm getting a little too "up there" in age to have any more, plus I had a very rough pregnancy, so she will be my last. (My Dr.s highly recommended that I don't try for any more) But believe me, my daughters energy and personality definitely makes up for the lack of her having any siblings! lol

Thank you very much.... I love to read and learn. Religion, ALL religions, facinate me and I spend countless hours reading. But for me, Wicca isn't so much a religion as it is a way of life - so "devotion" comes very easily. :smile:

Hi Mary, I think i should introduce myself to you. Im also new here and am just beginning to study wicca, I dont really know what to say but im 18, and as i said im new to everything,Im looking for a bit of help along the way and looking forward to meeting new friends, I say a little help from people, because i dont believe you can learn anything correctly by just reading books, I think you need to talk to new people and have a chat, i think i could learn alot from others, I would love to have a teacher but at the moment circumstances dont allow that, any way Im from the UK and I think I have finally found somewhere where i can fit in, Ive never fitted in with other regigions because i have always been on the magical side of things, i.e psychic, seeing the spirits, crystals and herbs etc, and now i fit in with everyone so Im happy. Anyway glad to introduce myself to you and take care
