Just dropping in for a quick intro - I don't get a lot of time to spend at online messege boards due to work, but I hope to get to know you all here over time. I actually found this board while looking for info about a tarot board I go to that was hacked (trying to find out if it was "safe" again - it is :D ) and when I got to looking around this seemed like a pretty nice community so I joined up.
Been "offically" pagan since the beginning of this year - unofficially pagan my whole life - even when I was being force fed mainstream religion - first by family, then by myself - when desperately trying to find that "something" that I knew I was missing. Having never been exposed to paganism before this past Christmas season (read an article about it in, of all places, the emergency room while waiting to be seen) I never realized that all of my talking to trees, plants, animals and even things sensed but not seen; all of my gazing lovingly at the moon; the "abnormal abilities", etc, etc, weren't "wrong" - when I read that article and started subsequent research it was like WOW - I've been so much more comfortable and content since finding my way to paganism and releasing all of the years of pre-programed lies and guilt brought on by Christianity. Nothing against the Christians - if it works for some, fine, but it never really worked for me, I never really bought it. Actually, I do have something against them - they need to stop trying to force feed it to everyone thinking that they are the only ones who are right, and that their way is the only way. We must each find our own path and I really believe I could have found mine a lot sooner had it not been for the campaign of mis-information, deception and outright attacks that Christianity wages against anything not Christian.
