Any meanings for an orange moon, and if so what are they, also are there any signs of the end of the world soon, because ive heard things, and would like other opinions. Thanx.

Sorry if this sounds naive now, but what do you mean? Simply the moon appearing orange/red in the sky?

If that's what you mean: it's to do with the angle of the moon in the sky, breaking the light in a different way than usual. Happens when the moon is rather close to the horizon.

Bottom line, there are scientific explanations for some things, and the moon looking in a certain way has nothing to do with the end of the world (in what way? Nuclear war? Armageddon? lol?). Paganism and rational thought aren't mutually exclusive...

If you meant something completely different that *I* have never heard about, I'm sorry. Obviously can't help you there.

Not quite what i ment,
I know the scientific explination of the moon and things, and i wasent associating the color with the end of the world. Those two questions had nothing to do with one another. But thanks for your help.

A red or orange moon has been associated with the coming of some kind of war or struggle- that is, it was seen as an omen of trouble, the red representing the blood of those involved or the blood of those who would die in the battlefields.

I personally do not associate a red moon with anything negative- on the contrary I find it to be a beautiful rarity (or almost rarity) and an omen of good things....

I have not heard anything about the world coming to an end, though I'm sure you can always find some fanatics who will tell you it is.
