Okay, now for a nosey question -- does anyone else perform pesonal rituals throughout the day? I began doing this a few years ago, and found that it has helped me balance out some emotionally, as well as jus making me feel good/flexing those ritualistic muscles.
I have a little prayer that I say, silently or aloud (but then generally whispered) whilst taking my prescription of the Pill each night, thanking the Lady for allowing me the opportunity to someday be a mother - but not yet! ;)
And when I can be bothered, I light a candle at dusk and give thanks for some thigs in my day, and ask for help in something that I am worried about.

But of course. One can't live on Group activity alone. :D

In the morning, I light a candle to celebrate the dawning of a new morning. I also draw one card from my tarot card, and then at night I reflect how it was significant through the day. In the evening I light a candle to celebrate making it through the day! :D
My alter is in a corner of my livingroom, so I frequently light a candle throughout the day, and burn some incense occasionally.

Dagda,
I also used to pull a card a day when I first started learning. It would help me remember the cards as I tried to relate it to my day. The best example being the nine of swords I pulled the day before I went to take my nursing boards. I never have a loss for feelings when I see this card now.

You bet I do! I do a full scale ritual at the end of every day, and in the morning I do a quick elemental centering, listening to any visions or voices that may come to me to tell me something important.

I do perform a ritual alone every night, beginning with a bath using scented salts or essential oils, burning candles and incense, and praying to the Goddess to thank her for all I have been blessed with and sharing my fears and wishes with her. I also meditate every morning.
I have found that often, if there's something I don't want to do (like housework, yech!! ), it helps to make a sort of ritual out of it. I learned this from someone else, I don't remember who or where.

Everyone has their own ritual. Me, at night I put on my favorite soothing cd, then I let the music take me where ever I might go. This has become nightly. Sometimes I go traveling and some times I just float. But I feel so much better in the morning when I do this that I can face each day with a new out look. My father taught me how to do this so I can travel. One of the best things he did. Wish I knew more people who could travel at will. Keep up you rituals that are yours and they will always help you.
