Maybe someone can answer this for me...

Ever since I was about 5, I always thought I saw things out of the corner of my eye....but when I went to look it wasn' there...The other day that happened and I was in a Denny's and I thought I saw a woman riding a bike and when I went to go see she wasn't there... and I know it's not just my imagination because I could actually see some details but when I turn around they're not there. I've always kinda just delt with it but I was just curious if anyone knew anything of this sort or if they've heard of the same kind of situations.

To me, it sounds as though you are seeing spirits. They often only show themselves slightly, i have seen many things at the corner of my eyes too. It doesn't bother me though, i'd like to see what other people say about this too though.

Spirits or faerie folk. In your case, I'd lean more towards spirits. That's how I most often see them, although I sometimes see them more directly. Faerie folk, on the other hand, I can't directly see. They're gone the instant I turn my head.

I knew that they were most likely spirits...btu I can usually see spirits straight on I just dont know why this is different.

Well, sometimes you see them straight on and sometimes you catch them at the corner of your eye, just like it can happen with a living person...

I experience the exact same thing almost daily. And I have taught myself not to swing around trying to catch them- coz you can't. Instead I just continue to watch them out of the corner of my eye and with time I have come to be able to see details. So carry on watching :)

I used to see things like that but not lately. For a while it was a lot though. If you are at home and see them try to talk to them without looking directly at them so they stay there.

I've had this happen too. I agree with everyone here, even tho instinct is to turn twords what you see, try to remember not to and focus on it out of the corner of your eye. My father who passed away in December of '99 comes to me this way sometimes. I haven't yet quite been able to focus in on the glimpses I get, but I know when it's him because I usually get a familiar scent, a song will come on, or a memory will pop in my head at that very moment that reminds me of him.
