Hello folks.. since we don't have a TV section here.. I just wanted to know if anyone here watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Angel? I'm a little obsessed with both of these shows (hence my name, one of the characters on Buffy).. and I'm just wondering if anyone else likes these shows!

I watch Charmed, Dark Angel, and Xena.
I've only seen a few episodes of Buffy, due to my hectic
schedule.
Only my Cat understands me.

Gaaaah... I LOVE Buffy. Spike... *drools* Wallow in the hottness. hehe He's so good @ faking that accent! *loves it* lol Willow is... okay... Let's not go there. What was the point of this?
OH YES! I watch Buffy and can't wait for the next season. Personally, since Doyle died I watched Angel less and less. Okay.. more like since the middle of season 2. *shrug* lol

I'm a fan of both, though I've missed quite a few episodes of Angel and I'm not that sorry. Sometimes I just don't like that show... they killed off Doyle, for one thing... :(
I'm still with Buffy, though I wavered for a bit during season four-- NOT a Riley fan-- but I think season 5 was pretty good, although I still think the best ones were back at Sunnydale High, with Cordelia and Oz and Angel. I do like Tara and Dawn though.
Can't wait for the 2-hour season premiere! :D

IT'S GONNA BE 2 HOURS?!?!? I'm taking that night off. lmao ;) I CAN'T _WAIT_ hehehe I'll admit... I liked Riley _@ FIRST_ but, after a while he got SOOOO annoying. I loved the eppie with the happy-giving wall. hehe I need to build myself one of those ;) Yes, I agree Loo, the killing off Doyle eppie... not a good one. Well, it was good in the way it was _written_ but...
DOYLE ROCKED! I cried that whole episode. :( But, I cried for the entire "series" finale of Buffy. I was _HYSTERICAL!_ I mean, I was BAWLING INTO A DISHTOWEL! ( Cos, I was watching it on the TV in my kitchen ) And, the episode where Joyce died.... omfg... I was hysterical for that eppie. I think that eppie and the "series" finale are some of the best eppies I've seen. But, I've only been watching since the BtVS/Angel crossover when Angel was human for a day and yada yada yada. ( loved that eppie too lol ) But, those two eppies where the best ones. The outcomes were upsetting, yes, but they were so beautifully written.... *sighs* What do you think? lol
\/------\/ "Fancy a bite?" ( changed it.. that sounds better. lol )
Buffy: What are you doing? Five words or less..
Spike: *counts on fingers* Out. For. A. Walk... Bitch! *grins*

Re: 2 hours-- that's what I'm hearing. :) It's premiering a week before Roswell, I think.
Ooh, agree with all your episode sentiments. The Joyve-dying one was soooo amazingly sad. THe season finale this year was great-- I started crying when they were on the metal platform thing and Buffy was realizing she had to jump. :( I mean, I know she's coming back and all, but still, watching her die was upsetting.
That B/A crossover was really well done, especially the ending. I can't believe we don't get any more crossovers just cause the WB sucks.

Oh yes. That was one of my first thoughts. An _angry_ thought too. lol I was like NO MORE CROSSOVERS?! That means... no Buffy/Angel togetherness. I mean, I _do_ like the possibility of Buffy/Spike more, but still... Ya gotta have faith that _MAYBE_ things would work out, yanno? :( Yea, I think I cried almost the whole finale of Buffy... I _think_... lol But, I spent like the hour _after_ the show crying as well. lol I called up a few of my friends, and we were hysterical crying... I was like... But... *sob* She _can't_ *sob* die. lmao Or, something to that effect ;)

I musta missed an important episode. I saw buffy die..and I heard that on Angel, Willow was supposed to show up at Angels door, and tell him about Buffy. Did this already happen? or is it Angels' season premiere episode. Please fill me in!!!!!!

HAHA WOo hoo! I'm not the only one!! Ooh.. yeah, the season finale I BAWLED.. I was hysterical.. I had 2 friends over, one of them had only seen 1 other episode, and they were both looking at me like I was nuts!! I had to go to work right after that (I worked graveyards) and when I would think about it, I would start crying again! I just just softly crying until I saw Spike break down and bawl.. oh god, thats so sad!! Joss Whedon is a genius.. someday I hope to be just a quarter of how good he is, writing-wise. I love that man. I love the fact that people were raving about how good his dialogue was, so he wrote "Hush" the episode where their voices got stolen.. and whaddaya know! No dialogue! And then when The WB told him there was too much violence, he wrote "Where the Wild Things Are", not much violence, but Riley and Buffy were boinking through the entire episode! haha He's hilarious.
My favorite episode (from season 5) was Fool For Love, when we learned all about Spike's past... yummmmm. I'm addicted to that man.. wish I could show you guys my "Spike Wall" haha.
Ok, anyone here wish Xander would cut his stinkin' hair??? I miss the Season 1 and 2 version of Xander.. yummy body, yummy hair.

I must admit, my eyes were less then dry when I read the inscription on Buffy's tombsone:
"Buffy Sommers
She saved the world
a lot"
However, it was supposed to be the series finale, but it really isn't... the show is moving to UPN. God, I hope they don't wreck it. Anyway, Buffy will be resurected somehow. Apparently, the rumor on one of the message boards is that Fred from Angel (the physcisist girl they rescued from demonland) will be able to use Dawn (the key) to go to another dimention and save Buffy.
and Willow is damn hot
These shows are really excellent, and I have very picky taste in TV - but these characters, they are really amazing. They laugh, they play, they fight, and they hurt.. that's not something you see on every show. The characters have developed well, and kept true to the spirit of the show. Except Angel, that show has its own kind of spirit, which I'm not really all about.
As a side note, every year I play in an annual B:TVS role playing game... like D&D, but you get to be the Sunnydale gang and play through a neat adventure. I always play Giles, because he's a laugh riot.

"Hush" was awesome. Hands down one of the best episodes ever. But I thought "Where the Wild Things Are" was one of the worst. Actually, most of the Initiative stuff was eye-crap for me.
I liked the Spike flashback ep, but I hated how the Angel episode was basically the SAME episode told from another POV. On the one hand, it was kinda clever, but it was still boring. They should have given us some new stuff.
Danustouch: Yeah, Willow went to Angel's at the veeeerrrrry end of their season finale. She was sitting on the couch as they returned from their parallel dimension, and as soon as Angel saw her face he knew. Someone asked what was wrong (Gunn or Cordy or someone) and Angel says, "It's Buffy." That was the end.
Illuminatus-- I heard that Willow performs the resurrection spell, but Buffy comes back not herself.

Danustouch-- I answered about the Angel thing in my post above. :)
Angel didn't show up in the Joyce dying ep-- he showed up in the Joyce's Funeral episode.
from http://www.btvs.connectfree.co.uk/buffyscripts/forever.htm
Shot of Buffy staring at the grave with a small frown on her face. The camera lingers on her as the daylight lengthens to darkness behind her.
Shot of the grave with Buffy's feet beside it. Another pair of feet appears and walks up beside her.
ANGEL: I'm sorry.
We see Angel standing beside Buffy, both staring at the grave.
ANGEL: I couldn't come sooner.
Buffy doesn't look at him, but she nods slightly and slips her hand into his. They stand looking at the grave, holding hands.
Cut to: graveyard, night. Pan across trees and graves. We discover Buffy and Angel sitting on the ground under a tree, leaning against it. Buffy has her legs curled under her and leans against Angel's shoulder. They both look at the grave as they talk.
BUFFY: The funeral was ... (sighs) it was brutal, but it's tomorrow that I'm worried about.
ANGEL: What's tomorrow?
BUFFY: That's exactly what I don't know. Up until now, I ... I've had a road map. Things to do every minute, having to do with Mom.
ANGEL: Tomorrow the stuff of everyday living resumes.
BUFFY: And everybody expects me to know how to do it, because ... (sarcastically) I'm so strong.
ANGEL: You just need some time. I'm sure everybody understands that.
BUFFY: Time's not the issue. I can stick wood in vampires ... but Mom was the strong one in real life. She always knew how to make things better ... just what to say.
ANGEL: Yeah ... you'll find your way. I mean, not all at once, but...
BUFFY: (shakes her head) I don't know. I keep thinking about it ... when I found her. If I had just gotten there ten minutes earlier...
ANGEL: You said they told you it wouldn't have made a difference.
BUFFY: They said ... "probably" ... wouldn't have made a difference. The exact thing they said ... was "probably." I haven't told that to anyone.
ANGEL: Doesn't make it your fault. You couldn't have done anything different.
BUFFY: (annoyed sigh) I didn't even start CPR until they told me. I fell apart. That's how good I am at being a grownup.
ANGEL: Buffy...
BUFFY: And it'd be okay if it was just me I had to worry about. But Dawn...
ANGEL: Look, it's okay. I know you don't feel like it now, but you are strong, Buffy. You're gonna figure this out. And you have people to help you. You don't have to do this alone.
BUFFY: (looks at the sky) It's gonna be light soon.
ANGEL: I can stay in town as long as you want me.
BUFFY: How's forever? Does forever work for you?
She turns her head to look at Angel, sighs and sits up to look him in the face.
BUFFY: (apologetically) That's a bad idea. I'm seriously needy right now.
ANGEL: Let me worry about the neediness. I can handle it.
They look at each other, then Buffy leans in and kisses him. They kiss softly for a moment. Then it gets a little more heated and they pull away, both breathing harder.
BUFFY: (looks down) I told you. (Angel sighs) You better go.
ANGEL: (another sigh) I'm sorry.
BUFFY: (firmly) No. I'm so grateful that you came, Angel. I didn't think I was gonna be able to make it through the night.
ANGEL: (looks up at the sky) Well, we still have a few more minutes until I have to go.
BUFFY: Good.
She puts her head on his chest and leans against him. He puts his arm around her shoulders.
BUFFY: Good.
They sit quietly together.
K? :)

Actually, Angel showed up the Episode after Joyce's death ("Forever.") and just held Buffy in the cemetary, after the funeral. They kissed.. and he said he could stay around as long as Buffy needed him, and she said, "How's Forever? Does that work for you?" And of course.. that doesn't work for Angel.. stupid Happiness Clause. It was sweet. And then he went back home. And yes, he does know about Buffy, as Loopy said, Willow was there when they got home from that other dimension, and she was crying and he said, "Buffy." He knew. He knows. It was quite heartbreaking, actually. I'm also not a big fan of Riley.. but I am a fan of Mark Blucas.. good actor. Hated the character though.. I'm a Buffy/Spike shipper.. have been since Season 2. LOL :) I used to have a website that was filled with good BtVS quotes (mostly Spike, cause he gets the best dialogue, IMHO) but when I left AOL, the website left me. :( Ehh, oh well.. I can always make a new one!
~Bree
P.S. Mar C... I've been working on the fake Spike accent (and yes, I realize I'm a girl, so I shouldn't sound like that, but hey, I'm obsessed) and I almost have it down pat! The one thing I can say just like Spike is "A Bear! You made a bear!!! Undo it! Undo it!" haha I should seek therapy.
"It's a big rock. Can't wait to tell my friends. They don't have a rock this big." hehehehehe

Ok..so....angel knows. Now...i'm DOUBLY eager to see the season premieres of both shows!!!!!!! Will Angel go to her grave, to pay his respects? Will he aid others in ressurecting her? Will he have MAJOR issues dealing with his grief over her loss? Man..I hate suspense!

Well then, that answers SOME of my questions. Seems like Angel will just have to come to terms with his grief in his own way...he'll probably talk about it though. And he could still "visit the grave"..or something. Flashbacks, perhaps? GRRRRRRR the no more angel/buffy crossover thing SUX..unless Angel eventually moves to UPN, too ??????????????????????????

Rumor has it, Angel will move to UPN sooner or later.. I'm hoping sooner.. cause I'm a little bitter at the WB! haha :) But, good news is, UPN will spend more for Buffy.. better effects and better props! They used to use an old cemetary prop in their parking lot, for all the cemetary scenes, except Joyce's funeral.. they went on location for that one! LOL :) I can't wait to see what Joss has planned for us this season.. it just keeps getting better and better. Have no fear, oh fellow Buffsters... we will prevail. :)

Yay! Yay! I'm a Buffy and Angel fan too. I've bawled at all the shows you've all mentioned!!
I once swore off Angel because they killed off Doyle (some of you must know the off-screen reason why, right?) but I got back into watching it mid-way through this season and I've really enjoyed it.
I'm already *drooling* for the season premieres! Anyone know the dates?
And thanks for that picture of James Marsters! *mega-drool* I'll tell you, he could nibble me in a few places.... :D 8O

Off-screen reason? Wasn't it just because they wanted to show that no one was safe or something?
