I've heard "star child" or "star children" used by like three to eight different people, and every single one of them gave an entirely different definition of the word when asked.

:whatgives I googled and found nothing useful in a language I could understand about ragna rocks. For star child, it says it's a human/alien baby... I have no clue.
Oh and :welcome:

Could "ragna rocks" be "ragnarokk"? Ragnarokk is the end of the world in Norse mythology or asatru.

I have never heard of Star Children. Do you know the context you heard it in? That might help people be able to narrow down definitions.
With "ragna rocks," I think you might be referring to Ragnarok. This is the Norse conception of what will happen at the end of the world. The gods will do battle with giants and other creatures, and the earth, moon and sun will be destroyed. For more information about this, check out the Heathenism class in the Circle of Teaching.
Hope that helped some.

I may be able to figure out the starchild part.. Inkubus Sukkubus has a song by that name, and I remember once hearing the explanation, the problem is I have to find it on the supernature forum which has no search feature.. so, I'll probably be back with that..
Although, I do know that it's a term they used in the movie (and book) Escape to Witch Mountain.. It's also the name of a story by Oscar Wilde http://www.ucc.ie/celt/published/E850003-022/
Okay, and it's also a term for Autism in children http://www.gigglepotz.com/autstar.htm
Success perhaps! http://www.zetatalk.com/teams/tteam11p.htm

Yes ragnarokk was what i was refering to. Some told me that many wiccans will be fighting in a war against ragnarokk.....a demon of some sort. All the greedy people will die. Bobby...i wiccan i know told me i was the star child. He is definitley telepathic. He told all this to me. He said he was the heir to the gurdain of the forest and that my friend was the heir of anubus. I'm not sure if i believe him...but some of the things i've seen him do....make me believe. Can anyone clear this up!

Your friend SERIOUSLY needs to stop mixing his mythologies! Ragnarokk is NORSE (Viking), while Anubis is EGYPTIAN, NEITHER of which have the first thing to do with Wicca.
Ragnarokk and Wicca have NOTHING to do with one another. Ragnarokk is a Norse idea of the end of the world, not a specific "demon"; while most if not all Asatru
encorporate the idea of Ragnarokk into their beliefs, Wicca is entirely different.
Now, various pagans of all different eclectic paths... some of them believe in some giant cosmic magical war coming up... and I suppose while they're entieled to their be liefs, I've never come across ANYTHING that convinces me of the fact such a battle is impending.
Star children--if they exist--are a GROUP, not a single person. Some people use the word synonomous with "indigo children" or "crystelline children" (a young generation being born that's more-than-human somehow.) Others use it to describe a group of new souls that has formed that have never been reincarnated before, so that they have a fresh enough view on teh world to bring about change the rest of us are too weary and jaded to manage. Some people think that they're "alien" souls being born into the world. I've done a little bit of research on them because I find the topic interesting, but I've never found anything to convince me of the truth of the idea one way or the ot her. Regardless, there is no ONE star child, if there are any; there are either none, or many.
Also, don't you think it's just a little bit coincidental that all of his close friends seem to have some great metaphysical destiny? I have trouble swallowing that... how doyou know he's "definately" telepathic, and what has he done that makes you want to believe him? what's so convincing? (and if I may ask, how old is he, anyways, and how old are you?)
Bobby unfortunately sounds like some people that I have known that are drawn to paganism/wicca becuase it lets them live in a Dungeons and Dragons universe instead of coping with the real world, instead of for the spiritual fulfillment it can really grant its followers.

**arches eyebrows in amusement, then whistles at the level of confusion in that one particular post** I may have to ask one or two of the Names to stop by and have a chat with that confused friend of yours.
**does the eeenie-meanie-minie-moe thing, then switches to this little chant instead**
Which one, which one will I choose?
Who will win and who will lose?

Meaning that there are so many Names (gods) in the Kemetic (Egyptian) pantheon that I'm wondering which Ones would be best to go and have a chat with your friend.

star child is a term sometimes used for indigo/crystal children. despite 'popular belief', they arent aliens.

yeah.. i'd have to agree with the whole.. he needs a reality check. we cant discount it, but that sounds like something crazier than sylvia brown would say. and if you were one of those children, you would know it before anyone told you.
