Question about a vision

Hello everyone. I'm new here. My apologies if this is in the wrong place.

I have a question concerning a vision I recently had. I have never had a vision like this before. I am empathic and have had some dreams that have come true, but nothing while I was awake. So, I'm not sure what to make of it.

I was standing in my kitchen and was suddenly gripped by something, I don't know the words to explain it really, it wasn't exactly a vision. Anyway, suddenly I was being 'greeted'(?) by a phoenix/thunderbird. I really don't understand this. I have never had anything like this happen before, I'm not old but not a youngster either ;) It was almost like it was saying "Hello, there you are; can you hear me? " or something. It didn't speak in english, it was almost like... I don't know what it was like heh... but I could almost understand it. It was beautiful, oranges, yellows and reds, with its wings spread and its head up and beak open making a sound kinda sorta like an eagle or a hawk, but singing, but more. It wasn't so much a sound as a feeling.

I know this sounds confusing. It's confusing to me. And somewhat unsettling, as it completely gripped me, I heard and saw nothing else.

I don't know how to interpret this, and would welcome any advice.

Well, I'm really no good at interpreting visions so the only thing I have to tell you is that the first thing that came to my mind was maybe it's your spirit guide? *shrugs*

Thanks :) I wondered that too.

Do spirit guides sometimes let themselves be known that... intensely? I've never been so immersed in a vision. Well, I've never had a vision like that before heh... usually feelings, I've always felt things, and have only seen things in dreams, if those can be interpreted as visions.

From my expirance spirit guides can come to you in many ways including trhis way. I think its great! :)

You will eventually figure it out. Takes a little time. :)

The first thing i thought about was the Pheonix in the X-men comics... But now that everyone knows i'm a nerd.... I think it too is a spirit guide. And if your spirit guide came to you that intensely i'm jealous! :D No, i would deffinately research the spirit guide thing... Maybe get in the state you were once before... burn some incense or something... And if it's a spirit guide, i'm sure it will have no problems finding you :) good luck!!!

Question for you: how did this vision make you feel? You know, what I'm getting at is not what you thought about it, or what your mind tells you this should be, or tries to make of it in a logical, intellectual kind of way... but when it happened, and shortly afterwards, how did you feel?

This will likely be the most accurate indicator of what this vision means to you or in your life...

Thats the hard part heh... This was an image more than a feeling, thats where my difficulty in understanding it comes from. Hmm.. I suppose the strongest feeling from it was it trying to get me to hear it...

With finding Cleo, posted a little story about that in just talk :) , 4 days after the vision, it makes me wonder if thats what it was trying to tell me.
