The one I reccomended above is really good. If I can find the other one I have on the subject, I'll let you know..in the mean time...........
"Goose people are far-sighted idealists who are willing to explore
the unknown. They approach life with enthusiasm, determined to fulfill their dreams. They are perfectionists, and can appear unduly serious.".

is very similar to "Celtic Astrology" in that
it really isnt a system similar to the western astrology sytems although attempts have been made to do superimpose one upon the other; but there are questions about the validity of calling either Native American or Celtic, true astrology , in the sense that we use it today .
I havent really looked deeply into the recently evolved Native American System since I attended a week long Sun Bear Medicine Wheel Gathering in upstate New York in 1983, when I was making the comparisons to what I had already been doing then with western astrology, and you can see that many of the attributes are "lifted" directly from the modern western sun sign systems.
A lot of Native Americans are calling what is called "Native American Astrology " invalid historically , the same way they are calling Helena Pattersons "celtic Astrology " invalid, and there is the danger of falling into yet another POP astrology system.
The " First People " did indeed have Medicine wheels and plot the the path of the sun and moon, and there is an American Stonehenge, OR STONE CIRCLE built high upon a mountain top and there is much star lore in ancient stories like this one
"Title: Grizzly Bear
Tribe: Shoshoni
Region: Wyoming, Southern Idaho
Object: Cygnus
A grizzly bear (Cygnus) climbed up a tall mountain to go hunting in the sky.
As he climbed, the snow and ice clung to the fur of his feet and legs. Crossing
the sky the ice crystals trailed behind him forming the Milky Way. "
and more on sites like this one....

but the real "star lore" of the ancient
americans.... didnt have a system like the western one.
Its fun, to look and see the "correspondences " but there are questions of validity .
Just thought you might be interested in knowing what the real deal is :> and it doesnt mean you cant enjoy the fun stuff, either :>

I understand what you are saying about it's historical validity...however....The little I've read on Native Astrology..has proven that WHATEVER it is..it's VERY accurate for me..just in the personality portraits, it paints.

To be introspective and expands our awareness of our inner selves is helpful, and serves an important purpose :>. I think the system is very beautiful, and I love being "turtle" clan my self, as I have always been drawn to turtles and had many dreams of turtles.
One of the things that I think, is that present visions and systems derived from those visions are always viewed in the light of what came before , and because they dont have the antiquity or the histroy are sometimes viewed as invalid, which is why I made the distinction of being invalid "historically".
The main accusation leveled at Sun Bear and Wabun Wind; and has been for years is that he is one of the people that "sold out" to make money. But I met him, walked and talked with him; and the message he was sending was one of caring for and respecting and loving mother earth, and if he made some money doing that , how is that worse than some of the gambling establishments? But I am getting OT here..and here is info on him....

The native American Star Lore is breathtakingly beautiful, and if awareness of that heritage increases through an "Astrology System", then so be it.
People get interested in astrology everday from reading "daily horoscopes" and any astrologer worth their salt will tell you that daily horoscopes arent "real Astrology"
I like the diagram of the medicine wheel on this page .....

So anything that has validity for you is valid in that sense !

salmon here.I have an interest too. Actually I just recently found out what all I was (races). Yes technically we're all humans, and that's all that matters, but this is one of the few ways I can learn about my heritage. I'm part some sort of native american. Don't know which one, doesn't matter to me (in a good way), it'd be nice to know though.
