Yes! Me too. Too bad about Douglas Adams. My son loves his books too. The Hitchiker's the book tape he listens to when falling asleep.

Loved the books, couldn't put them down.
I have begun to read Terry Pratchet who has a similar sense of humor.

Is there a reason you've ommited the fifth novel, Mostly Harmless, from the list? I quite enjouyed that little denoument.

Douglas Adams is wonderful! Has anyone read his other books? Dirk gently, Hostilic Detective Agency; The Long Dark Teatime of the Soul; Salmon of Doubt? Its a starnge feeling to thouroughly enjoy a book like this and still have no idea what it is about :D.

I remember more then 20 years ago listening to 5 minute radio stories of Hitchhiker's. They were on CBC at the time...

Loved reading them back in 5th grade, loved reading all 5 in one volume just a few months ago. Most awesome. :D
