I'm doing a reading for a friend...she basically wants to know if she's destined to live a long & successful life.
The question I'm making out of that is something like this: If ______ stays on her current path, what will the outcome of her life be?

I'd originally planned to use the celtic spread because I generally use this for all of the other readings I do for people but for some odd reason, it doesn't feel right when I think about it.

Do you think that the celtic spread is appropriate for this question?
Do you know of a spread that would be better in this situation?

I've found quite a few spreads that deal with the near future, but nothing for the (hopefully) far distant future.
Any help is greatly appreciated :)

That's a very broad question. And the CC spread is very generalized and often gives alot of extraneous information. If it's just generalizations your friend is looking for, I'd say you'll be fine doing this.

If you want to narrow things down you may want to create a spread for it. Write down what specific questions she wants answered. Examples: "What in the past contributed to her present outlook?", "What in the present is her main obstacle?", "What is her main goal or focus?", "What can she do to actively support her goal?", etc.

Then narrow that list down and choose one card for each question. You'll get more specific answers that way.

If you don't know what to ask, start with the CC general reading and go from there.

Thanks for your reply :)
I ended up doing the celtic, and told her that if i'd missed anything she wanted covered, i'd pick more cards for those questions.
