Do you have a birthmark? If so, what shape, color and location??
I was born with a dark oval mark on my rib cage about an inch long. I had it removed when I was in my 20's....the doctors said better safe than sorry later. My children both have stain like birthmarks on the back of one of their legs....and at the nape of their necks.
But I'm curious to know about other peoples markings.

I think there's another thread about this somewhere....but I haven't seen it for a while so a new one is probably a good plan *grins*
I have two birthmarks, one on my left knee which is the exact shape of England (and i mean EXACT, all the detail of the coasts. It's not massive though :p) and one on the underside of my right knee...which is the exact shape of Ireland! I think it means my roots are firmly here and that I'm going to travel :D

I've got on on the inside of the side of my left foot. It's red and just looks like a splotch about an inch by inch wide. It does have what looks like a spider web. And I once toyed with the idea of getting a spider tattooed there, but decided against it. I was the only one in my family to have one. My daughter has the almsot exact same one, but on the back of her neck, just into her hair, so you really can't see it.
Jezabel, your's sounds cool!!

I don't have one, but I kinda wish I did. They're intresting...distinguishing...that sort of thing.

Birthmarks:
I have none, but SO, Anothony has a brown spot on his elbow (looks like a dirt smudge)
Khrissy has same-exact as her father, brown smudge on elbow
Spud has brown smudge on back of his knee
Devin has very light circle on her spine, just above her tushy (about where her underwear lay) which is much more pronounced when she's tan...which happens to be the same-exact as her father!
Tyke...well, um....he has a bright red smudge....on his....well....on the bottom of his scrotum...the Doc keeps thinking it's a rash! Anothony says "That'll get him layed one day"

I had one. I had a hemongeoma (sp?) right between my eyes when I was a baby. It was about the size of a small lemon when it was removed (about a year old) now I just have a Y-shaped scar there.

I just have moles.
Lucky it was removable, VB. My hubby has one that's entwined in the structures of his right arm so much that it's unlikely it can all ever be removed..

I don't think I really have any birthmarks, but I do have something like one on my left thigh. I always try to cover it up. ^^;

I've heard that I was very lucky that this one could be removed at all. It was intertwined with my tear-ducts and all. I was lucky that my parents were able to find such a good plastic surgeon (a million years ago:p ) that would attempt the surgery...they told me many wouldn't:hrmm:
I wish your hubby luck with his, that it can be totally removed.

:) Thank you, but it can't. They've tried and tried. When they went into his palm they found nerves and veins all knotted together.. His muscles are like balloons, filled with the useless masses, and not easily reached to get them out...

I have a light brown patch on my thumb, the back of my hand side, right over the meaty part. And I have a strawberry mark a few inches over the crack of my butt, I'm not quite sure what shape it is- it's a little hard to see...;) .
Both of my kids have a stork bite (a splotchy strawberry mark) on the back of their necks up into their hair, just like their Daddy!

I don't have any birthmarks, nor does my daughter. But my son was born with a red mark on his left eye, it looks a bit like a port wine birthmark, apparently it'll fade but it could be there permantly, only time will tell :)

I have a big red blotch on the side of my right knee.
My little daughter has one that when she gets older, if I hear any male friends mention it, I'll know they've been up to something...

I don't know if a major clump of freckles count as a birthmark, but I got a spot on my back about an inch or so long and wide that is freckled.
As a child everytime my dad would get me at me he swore he would cut all my hair off to find the three sixes that went with it  .

I don't think I would call it a birthmark, but I do have what we call our family mole. It's on my left buttock. My mother, sisters, neice, and I all have one in the exact same place. My son and nephew have ones that match ours on the right buttock. Very odd, but really kind of neat too to have such identifying marks.

I have one, it's half on my breast bone and half on one of my breasts and I don't know what it looks like now from it stretching due to my "blossoming" It used to be shaped like Ireland when I was younger. My brother has one on his back shaped like Ireland, that's how I remember, cause my mom said we matched. :)
And my daughter and my son have pinkish splotches on the backs of their necks, just like their father does.

I have a perfect "G" on my upper right thigh. My Mom used to say that it was a 6, and there were 2 more Devil children out there with 6;s on there legs and we would get together someday and rule the world. LOL

I used to have a light brown one on my right thigh in the shape of a oval. Like most of my 'scars', it's disappeared.
