I went around the city today after school. Had some things to do, get lunch, get a few things from the library, look into a new phone, just general chores.
I have to use the bus since Im too scared to drive ( I lost one of my close friends in a car accident, how eager would YOU be to drive?). So I was sittin there, wondering what kind of movies I could find at the library. I heard these two kids next to me were flapping thier gums about "Those f***ing Mexicans". I ignored it, theres alot of people around here who dont like the rather large Latino community so I just wrote it off as the summer heat making people touchy. I got off the bus and headed towards Athenas (Its a little Greek resturant, EXCELENT food, if any of you ever come down here, you GOTTA try it) I was just sitting there, eating my food, when some little punk in a group of people behind me started going off about "Those goddam ni****s!" I ignored it for a bit, but it got on my nerves so I left.
4 more stops and I swear at EVERY place I went to there was SOME punk going off about "Those damn white/black/asian/mexican/green people!" This is a really conservative town and there are a few white-power people around. But most of them are too stupid to do anything overt. It just seems like all of a sudden, everyone's racist. Everyone hates someone for some reason.
What is going ON with people?!
