are good for noncombustible incence??
I have found out the hops and passion flowers (dried) are not good for this type of incence...... probably would do well in a pillow ....

If I understand the question correctly, there are many great combinations for non-combustible incense.

Pick a holiday/ritual, LOL!

Hmmmm....... let me rephrase the question....
What light smelling herbs would you recommend to use on a weekly basis? Not necessarily anything dealing with holidays or rituals.

And , yes Eaglewolf, you understood the ? very well. LoL

One of my favorites is 2 parts sandalwood and a dash (1/2 part) of mint... mixed with just enough cypress oil to make it interesting.

Don't know if that is what you are looking for, but I burn it for GP, never anything special.

I like to use Mint with Geranium on occasion. My most favorite, and you'll hear me oftentimes bring it up, is Lavender. I love lavender and will sometimes add a dash of Mint to it for an interesting aroma.

Happy experimenting!

I think mint and lavender sound yummy smelling!! For everyday scents I'm always burning dragon's blood. I don't have a favorite mixture but the smell of dragon's blood soothes me to no end.

Amora,

It seems I am following you around today...lol
But, I also burn Dragon's Blood for the same reasons as you do. It also makes a great seal for letters when melted onto the envelope, as well...just a thought!

I'm off to the store this weekend to pick up some dragon's blood and some mint.....
Lavender is wonderful.... I use it often

How does Dragon's Blood come? ground? pieces?

Aurora...

I have seen dragon's blood come in powder, ground, chunks, pieces and paste. For those who don't know, dragon's blood is simply palm tree sap!

Peace and light!

Thak you Ellegon

One more question =)
If I buy the chunks or pieces are they pretty easy to grind into powder by hand?

Absolutely......But make sure that the chunks are dry. Make sure you have a good quality mortar and pistil...Other than that, fire up your favorite ritual and have fun!
