Odin has two ravens called Hugin (thought) and Munin (Memory) who bring him news from all over the nine worlds and the raven is also sacred to The Morrighan as for cheetahs I have no idea, perhaps try looking at some African Gods/Goddesses

ok...Im rather new to th path, and feel stupid asking, but who is the morrigan? Ive seen her name everywhere....

the ravens must have been from odin, cuz there were two of them...they were huge...I was afraid that they would poop on me though, so I went inside...odd how they were hovering. my neighbor's dog is named odin ....the cheetah was chasing him too...

The raven is sacred to many gods and goddesses including The Morrígan and Lugh. The Morrígan is an Irish triple goddess of battle, strife, and fertility/sovereignty. It is important to realize that when I say triple goddess I don't mean in the neo-pagan/Wiccan concept of mother, maiden, crone. Rather, the Celtic idea behind a triple goddess usually had something to do with three sisters or the deity serving three functions. Here is an interesting link about her: http://www.imbas.org/articles/morrigan.html.

Lugh is the Irish name for what is believed to be a Pan-Celtic deity who can be found under various names such as Lugh, Lugos (Gaulish), and Llew (Welsh). He is generally considered to be a solar deity, which is not to be confused with a sun god. Here's an article about him: http://www.imbas.org/articles/lugus.html

Ravens rarely travel in odd numbers, on account of the fact that they mate for life :)

Hi Ashtmorte! Do you think that the dream was about a god or goddess trying to send you a message? Sorry, I don't know of any deities who are associated by a cheetah. Maybe cheetah is a power animal. Maybe the quick cheetah is trying to help you get your life on the right track as fast as possible.

thanks to everyone who replied! I think it was odin trying to tell me something, though Im still not sure what. The morning after the dream I went into the living room and laid on the couch, and for a second or two I got a really odd feeling...like all my barriers were down. Very odd. I dont know if its connected or not, but it might be. Im going to attempt a meditation later and see if I get any answers or visions or anything. :bouncybob
