(I have cross-posted this from the Magic and Rituals forum)

A friend of mine is about to have her first baby, and her friends want ritual to ask for a good birth- We could do this at her shower on Saturday- and a ritual to welcome the new child into the world, after.
In all my books, I only find one "Paganing" ritual, out of a book called "Magical Rites From The Crystal Well" It's very nice, and I can certainly base something on it. Anyone have any ideas? How about for the Birth?

My closest friend in the world has a sculpture of a Little Birthing Goddess that can sit up , fits in the hand beautifully and is a rattle as well for dancing ( not for the baby but for ritual ) here is a pic :>
