I just came across this site, you can get up to $40 of stuff from free. I just printed my order out and will be sending it in tomorrow. I love free things.

That offer is for school teachers and the stuff is suppose to be sent to the school.
Not for homeschooling.
I just feel wrong about stuff like that.
It ask for the name of the school and the address. I wouldnt feel right putting my address in place of a schools address.
Or using the schools name when I dont even send my kids there.

I'm sorry you feel that way. But I am a teacher and I get no help what so ever from the school district or the state for anything so any opportunity I find I take it. I am going on my fifth year with my kids and I spend $500 - $1000 a year out of pocket.
But, for you, I did email the company to find out just what the status is for homeschoolers. There have been a lot of changes in the last few years regarding the status of homeschoolers. We qualify for teacher discounts at many stores and with Box Tops for Education thing BettyCrocker has, homeschoolers now qualify for that too.

I am a homeschooler too. Thats why I looked at the site. It states at the bottom "US schools only".
I am a mom that teaches her own children but I dont work at a school, nor am I a certified teacher.
It would be nice if it was offered to homeschoolers but it says its not. I just cant falsify the form they ask you to fill out. Thats just me I guess.
Form the site:

Hmmm, in my state (Indiana) homeschools and private schools have no statutory difference, so a homeschool is considered a private school. The parents are considered the teachers and principal; the home is considered the school. Don't know about everywhere, though.

You know Shanti there are so many words I want to type right now but the FCC would take my computer from me.....
I am not nor will I ever be a liar. I don't cheat, I don't steal and I'm not going to falsify a damn piece of paper for a buck. I have to get the stuff anyhow and if this offer is open to homeschoolers than I will take it, if not then I won't. As far as the US schools only that means that it isn't open to people in Japan, Mexico, Canada or other countried outside of the US.
I don't know if your reference above was directly calling my a liar, but I'm guessing your were. Maybe it is just that it is early in the morning and I haven't had my breakfast. Maybe it's the $15 I'm getting ready to spend on cab fare to get to the library but whatever it is this post of yours is really coming off nasty and rude to me.
I read the site, every part of it BEFORE I filled out my form, not once did I see anything that excluded homeschoolers. That is why I filled out the form and posted the information here. I'll never make that mistake again. I was trying to reach out in kindness, not get accused of doing things that are illegal which was never my intention.

I am not calling anyone a lier, just stating the facts of the sites guidelines. Thats all.
Homebased private education does not always mean your a legal school and all should be aware so they can check into the legalcalities before they partake in an offer that may not be for them. Usually to be a school there are requirements involved that many may not have. Nothing wrong with stating facts.
