Okay, I'm trying to peice together a ritual for Imbolc (Southern Hemisphere) and I keep coming across conflicting information in regards for the colours associated with Imbolc.
For example:
Amethyst Rose in her Wheel of the Year Course says:
White, Pink, Red, Yellow, light Green, Brown
Whilst Scott Cunningham only lists Red as colour of Imbolc
Can anybody help me out?

You've probably heard it before, but I'm going to say it again: do what feels right for you, a ritual - or any kind of spiritual work - doesn't depend on the colour of the candles, or other props, to work!
What I use for Imbolc is lots and lots of white candles. White for the purity of the new year, and for the milk (you know Imbolc is calving season).
Hugs!!

Yeah, thanks. When it comes to candles though I like a bit of colour, besides white, which in itself can be rather pretty, if you have nice candles...

hiya rubyrose,
why not go out and see what are the main main flowers in bloom at this time of the year?
rather than let a book tell you what you should have, let nature itself tell you.
good luck !

to me imbolc colors are white and gold. Both to me represent light...also the snow that is still deep on the ground where i live at this time of year...the gold the sun, which is seen much more often than before.
