The Moon is the ruler of your emotional nature... this is the part of you that may not always be shown to the world, though there are some who identify more closely with their Moon than anything else. The Moon is where your instincts lie: how you react to certain things, whether consciously or subconsciously; what you need in your life to feel safe & secure; and basically your emotional "style". How do you deal with your emotions? Do you bury them deep or let them overflow into the world? Your Moon will show you.
The Moon can also represent your Mother to a degree, much as the 4th House can... but again it deals more with how you /saw/ your Mother, how you experienced her parenting, not necessarily her true self. Aspects the the Moon can show whether you felt nurtured or safe enough growing up, and how that colors your current emotional instincts.
First we'll deal with the Signs... the book I used for the decanates also has a neat little preface to Moon signs called "Light Side" & "Dark Side" that I think will be fun for us as well; these keywords show how the Moon changes the tone of your Sun. :)
The Moon by Sign
Moon in Aries
Light Side: You're more energetic, enterprising, optimistic, open to change, idealistic.
Dark Side: You're more impulsive, opinionated, domineering, impatient, vain.
Your emotions burn like fire... you're very passionate and courageous when it comes to following the dictates of your heart, but your impulsiveness can get you burned sometimes. You get quick, intuitive perceptions and immediately accept them; deep down you're very sure of yourself. You can be quite charming, and can sometimes be manipulative in getting what you want. You want true love and all the drama that comes with it, but you may find yourself too easily bored once the initial enthusiasm wears off. Aries are known for their love of the "chase", and you may find afterwards that what you wanted isn't so exciting once you actually /have/ it. You also don't want to be "tied down"; even in a relationship you will insist on maintaining your own "space" and will not allow another to control you or change you.
If your Sun is in a Fire Sign as well, you'll find that an Aries Moon adds to your impulsiveness, charisma and ability to inspire others; it also ups your energy stores.
If your Sun is in an Air Sign, an Aries Moon is a good complement; it can help you actually express all those ideas you're dreaming up, and adds the edge of intuition to your mental prowess.
If your Sun is in a Water Sign, Aries Moon increases your powers of imagination and creativity, as well as your passions in love; you're probably a little more "serious" about relationships than described above. :)
If your Sun is in an Earth Sign, Aries Moon gives you fuel towards reaching your worldly goals & ambitions; you'd probably make a good leader and you're a /bit/ more "steady" than the others. :)
Moon in Taurus
Light Side: You're more trustworthy, determined, warm, affectionate, artistic.
Dark Side: You're more obstinate, possessive, rigid, overcautious, scheduled.
This Moon needs its creature comforts... soft pillows, pleasing-to-the-touch fabrics, a homecooked meal and a good massage every now and then. They feel loved through pampering... indeed they are so sense oriented that they need to see it or touch it to know it's love. Words aren't enough. Structure and order are important to you... when there's a problem you like to take control and find the best and quickest way of solving it. While you are strongly opinionated, those opinions are developed over a long period of time, and probably have the experience to back them up. But once you've made your mind up it takes a long while to convince you to change it. Taurus' influence gives a sense of style and possibly some artistic talent to boot. In love, you're generally monogamous; you feel most secure in the stability that a committed relationship can provide. Once you've found the right person for you, you're not likely to stray.
If your Sun is also in an Earth Sign, your determination and self-discipline are reinforced, you are as devoted to your goals as you are your loved ones.
If your Sun is in a Water Sign, a Taurus Moon enahances your personal magnetism and allows you to create something tangible out of your imaginings.
If your Sun is in a Fire Sign, Taurus Moon adds to your strength and endurance; you're more likely to finish what you start than others of your signs.
If your Sun is in an Air Sign, Taurus Moon takes your mind to a practical focus, putting your ideas into something useful.
Moon in Gemini
LightSide: You're more versatile, witty, charming, lively, amusing.
Dark Side: You're more disorganized, inconsistent, superficial, cunning, manipulative.
Unlike some other Moons, yours actually feels /less/ secure when things are too "stable". You actually feel more comfortable with change and variety; /boredom/ is what unsettles you! :) Moon in Gemini has a tendency to overanalyze their emotions rather than just feel them. They want to know why they and others feel the way they do and may try without much success to apply logic to the emotional realm. You may not accept your actual emotions; you may think you "should" feel a certain way and are puzzled when you don't. You're very adaptable though and able to get along well with most anyone. You also learn new things quickly, almosty intuitively. In relationships you tend to be a free spirit, you're restless and your love of variety often spills over into your love life. Sometimes your ideals of love are so high that reality doesn't seem to measure up, but anyone that can keep you guessing would be good for you: you love a puzzle and that includes people as well.
If your Sun is also in Air, your intellect is even sharper; you probably have the gift of gab as well and are able to express yourself easily.
If your Sun is in Fire, your intellect blends with Fire's passion and sense of adventure to encourage you to explore new ideas and areas.
If your Sun is in Water, the idea of trying to find out why people act the way they do is enhanced; you're less superficial and more inclined to dip beneath the surface and to "read between the lines". :)
If your Sun is in Earth, your persistence and determination add to your quick mind to help you achieve your goals.
Cancer Moon
Light Side: You're more imaginative, sympathetic, protective, tenacious, loyal.
Dark Side: You're more possessive, moody, critcal, self-pitying, a nag.
The Moon rules Cancer so this placement is usually strong. You feel a deep need to nurture others, and you want others to take care of you as well, although you usually put others needs & wants ahead of your own. The Moon has a definite effect on you, and you may find your emotions change quite rapidly. Your intuition is strong and you may even be a bit of a psychic, so strong are your impressions. You tend to live through your emotions rather than your intellect, but you may hide your feelings from others behind that thick Cancer shell. You can appear mysterious to others in this way: they sense the turbulent emotions within even when you show a calm cool surface. Any creative work you do is likely to be powerfully moving to others on an emotional level. In love you're happiest in committed relationships, but it may take awhile before you find one who is truly worthy of you. You may find a lot of "takers" before you find someone who's willing to give back as good as they get. You can be quite needy and possessive though, because you fear rejection and abandonment.
If your Sun is also in Water, your emotional depths are emphasized, as are your intuition and mysterious magnetism.
If your Sun is in Earth, your passions are grounded and don't overrule you, and your loyalty and artistic craftmanship is enhanced.
If your Sun is in Fire, your energy is directed into creative projects, your emotions add a sense of drama to your personality.
If your Sun is in Air, Cancer Moon adds a deeper level of relating to your social skills, your thoughts can touch others on a deeper level and vice versa.
Moon in Leo
Light Side: You're more exuberant, creative, broad-minded, colorful, fun-loving.
Dark Side: You're more self-indulgent, self-centered, conceited, overbearing.
Your emotions tend towards the dramatic. You have a definite flair for self-expression and have a great sense of pride, though this may mask an inner insecurity. You make decisions based on your emotions, and if someone can't reach your feelings, they're not going to be able to change your mind about anything. You also have little patience for narrow-minded individuals and don't generally allow yourself to submit to their rules of "shoulds" and "should-nots". You're charming with a great sense of humor and a sense of enthusiasm that lifts other's spirits, which others find it nice to be around, so they can usually overlook your need to "run the show". :) In love, you're a definite romantic and passionate to boot, but also may have some issues with too-high expectations. But rather than finding someone new when things get dull, you're more and willing to put in the effort to spice what you have back up and make things fun again.
If your Sun is also in Fire, Leo Moon strengthens your creativity and ability to inspire others.
If your Sun is in Air, your Leo Moon gives your ideas a personal touch that can reach a wider audience on the instinctive level.
If your Sun is in Earth, Leo Moon emphasizes your strong passions and also your leadership abilites.
If your Sun is in Water, your creativity and emotions blend to enable to bond more deeply with others.
Moon in Virgo
Light Side: You're more intellectual, meticulous, industrious, steadfast, responsible.
Dark Side: You're more critical, high-strung, standoffish, argumentive, hypochrondriac.
Like the Gemini Moon, you can overanalyze your emotions too much. It's not that you don't /have/ emotions: Virgo Moons are quite passionate deep down. :) But you're almost afraid of your emotions at times because you don't understand why you feel as you do. You're also afraid to open yourself to others for fear of hurt and rejection, and as critical as you can be of others, you're 10 times harder on yourself. You need to let go of the idea of perfection, as this can hold you back from even getting started. But you do have an eye for detail and can intuitively pick up on "vibes" that others would miss. You also tend to be a worrier. :) But you approach life as if every experience has something new to teach you. In love you don't have a lot of self-confidence and can be quite shy; few people get close enough to you to know your true depths, as it can be hard to win your trust. But once they do, they're often surprised at your depth of feeling and passion... don't let anyone call you a cold fish! Even so, your feelings tend to come through your actions; you may not put your emotions into words that much, but you will do things to show your love for others and try to make yourself useful to them.
If your Sun is also in Earth, your practical and resourceful nature is emphasized, as are your Earthy passions, once unlocked. ;)
If youe Sun is in Water, Virgo Moon adds an intellectual aspect to your emotional nature, over time you become adept at figuring out others motivations, your intuition is more focused.
If your Sun is in Fire, a Virgo Moon gives endurance to your creativity and the stick-to-it-ness needed to get your dreams made into solid form.
If your Sun is in Air, Virgo Moon enhances your intellect and logic, and puts your organization skills to good use.
The rest of the signs will be coming within the week... :)

Moon in Libra
Light Side: You're more adaptable, creative, charming, good-natured, diplomatic.
Dark Side: You're more indecisive, self-indulgent, dependent, frivolous, changeable.
Harmony is your keyword... any planet in Libra does not always get "balance" right off the bat; it's more of a constant goal for them to work towards. Tension can actually make you ill. You like to be in eye-pleasing surroundings, and you like everyone to get along, thus you're usually in the position of peacemaker. A danger though is trying to be all things to all people; you want so much to be liked that -while you won't necessarily pretend to be something you're not- you may keep any "unpopular" thoughts, feelings and opinions to yourself to keep from rocking the boat. You're easy-going and charming for the most part, though some can be frustrated by your need to see /all/ sides of the issue before coming to a decision; we're not just talking the pros and cons, but about a million different directions in between. And while this is an admirable way to make up your mind, it sometimes has the effect of postponing the actual /deciding/ part indefinitely. This can also spill over into your love life; it's not that you don't relate emotionally, but that you can't separate your head with those darn scales from your feelings. Heaven forbid you ever have to choose between 2 admirers; you'd be so afraid of hurting one of them that you'd be tempted not to choose at all. You are a true romantic though, you just need to be careful you're not "falling in love /with/ love" and find yourself a good match.
If your Sun is also in Air, a Libra Moon enhances your mental processes and adds a touch of persuasional skill to your speech.
If your Sun is in Fire, Libra Moon gives you more of something you may be lacking in: tact! It makes you more personable and magnetic.
If your Sun is in Earth, your artistic skills and craftmanship are emphasized. No matter what your work may be, it's presented in an eye-pleasing manner.
If your Sun is in Water, your emotions and your intellect are both well-developed, neither seems to overwhelm the other. Your powers of imagination and visualization are greatly enhanced.
Moon in Scorpio
Light Side: You're more imaginative, determined, ambitious, emotional, idealistic.
Dark Side: You're more obstinate, secretive, jealous, resentful, domineering.
Your emotions run deep, and even that is probably an understatement. :) You, of all the water Moons, have the greatest ability to project a totally calm exterior, but your emotions literally bubble underneath. There's no true apathy within you, and you can hate as deeply as you love; Scorpio is the sign of extremes and when you look out into the world you rarely see the "in-between" areas. You also have the ability to "disconnect" yourself from your feelings if they prove too painful to deal with. Though you may seem tough, you're deeply fearful of being hurt; you can set up elaborate "tests" in order for people to prove themselves worthy of your trust. People may not know they're being tested, but they'll certainly know if they fail. You can put up with a bad relationship longer than most, but when they cross that final line, you have no problem cutting them out of your life completely. Your willpower is a force to be reckoned with. :) You're also very sensual, with a powerful magnetism that seems to draw others to you, but contrary to popular belief, Scorpio's not about sex for the sake of sex: rather it's about the deepest bonding you can experience. While you may seek out some random sexual encounters in your youth, what you're really searching for through it all is your other half, your perfect complement. (Though of course I don't believe we have just /one/ soulmate available to us.) When you finally find someone you can trust, you totally devote yourself to them, be it a lover, a friend or a family member. Jealousy can rear its ugly head once in awhile though, because even when things are good, you seem to have a deep fear that you'll lose it.
If your Sun is also in Water, Scorpio Moon energizes your creativity and deepens your emotions even further; you can accomplish anything through the force of your will and may have a particular talent for magic or the psychic arts.
If your Sun is in Earth, your leadership ability is enhanced; you know how to take charge, and in crisis situations can be a fierce protector for those around you.
If your Sun is in Fire, your personal magnetism is greatly empowered, as is your willpower and drive to succeed.
If your Sun is in Air, psychic/intuitive insight is added to your quick mental processes; you're able to go beyond the superficial and see deep within.
Moon in Sagittarius
Light Side: You're more adventurous, optimistic, exuberant, open-minded, sincere.
Dark Side: You're more restless, extravagant, irresponsible, careless, uncommitted.
Your emotions, like the rest of you, need to be free to roam. You prize your independence, and thus will never feel secure is situations where you feel tied down or controlled. You have to be you, no matter what, and it's important for you to surround yourself with friends and lovers who won't try to change you and like you just the way you are. You have high ideals and an open mind that sees the big picture, even if it tends to miss those minor little details. Exploration is a big thing for you, be it new places, new ideas, what have you. There's an underlying optimism to your personality that usually protects you from any deep enduring depressions. You simply believe that everything happens for a reason, and while you might like to speculate on it, you don't dwell on it too deeply. You're charming and make others lighten up with your enthusiasm and zest for life. Though you can go overboard at times, you're so fun to be around that most will easily forgive your minor social faux pas, such as your almost-brutal blunt honesty. In love, you're another who loves the thrill of the chase, the excitement of a new amour, but your lovers may complain that you seem too detached... For you "true love" is more like best friends than deep soul mates, you need your personal space and don't want to feel too bogged down by the "seriousness" of a relationship. This is not too say you can't settle down quite happily, given the right partner, but that any relationship must preserve your independence if it's going to last. :)
If your Sun is also in Fire, Sagittarius Moon increases your confidence and sense of adventure, you want to "boldly go where noone has gone before" and you attempt to do so whenever the opportunity presents itself. :)
If your Sun is in Air, this Moon gives your mindset a broader outlook and a philosophical bent; it also gives you a sense of enthusiasm that can be contagious to others. :)
If your Sun is in Earth, you combine your rational, practical nature with a "big picture" outlook and are able to creat changes that benefit all; careers in law or politics could be favored.
If your Sun is in Water, your imagination combines with a visionary outlook to give you great expressive talents; you might be a fabulous artist or writer, even if you're the only one who knows it. :)
Moon in Capricorn
Light Side: You're more determined, responsible, disciplined, patient, commited.
Dark Side: You're more rigid, pessimistic, opinionated, materialistic, overexacting.
You find security in stability; you feel safest and most at ease within the comfort of a routine and schedule. The daily little rituals you go through ground you and calm you. You do have a good bit of creativity, only yours is the kind that must be put to use; a good many inventors have this position, most notably Thomas Edison. Capricorn Moons have a tendency to throw themselves into their work, almost to the exclusion of everything else. To them, making more money only increases their feelings of stability, so they're likely to be good workers, with great organizational skills and attention to details. But this all work and no play mindset can lead to stress and depression; and indeed there's already a certain melancholy about you. Deep down you feel lonely and insecure, which may be why you spend so much time trying to prove your worth to others. You're afraid to open up to others for fear of rejection, or for fear that the person will abandon you at some point and break your heart; and indeed this may be a haunting remnant from your childhood even if it did not directly involve you. People can see you as cold, because you so tightly guard your emotions that few ever realize you have them. It may take awhile for you to find love, but when you do, it really transforms you; Capricorn is a sign that seems to get younger as it ages, and you may in fact find that the older you get, the more fun you have. All that hard work tends to pay off somehow. Love opens up your creativity and your strong passions; you've always had them, you've just needed someone who cared enough to unlock them. There is noone more devoted to their loved ones, though, as with Virgo Moons, it may not always be in the words, but more in the actions. :)
If your Sun is also in Earth, take a vacation! Right now! I mean it! Seriously though, your hard work will bring you success, but don't fall into the workaholic trap. Success doesn't always equal happiness. :)
If your Sun is in Water, your self-discipline and determination can help you achieve your creative goals.
If your Sun is in Fire, a Capricorn Moon emphasizes any leadership abilities, and people instinctively feel they can rely on you.
If your Sun is in Air, Capricorn Moon adds resourcefulness and gives more focus to your many interests so that you can find the best direction for your brilliance. :) Inventiveness is a strong component of your personality.
Moon in Aquarius
Light Side: You're more idealistic, creative, tolerant, humanitarian, progressive.
Dark Side: You're more unpredictable, contrary, aloof, opinionated, tactless.
Your passions may not run as deep as your /compassion/... You abhor the pain, suffering and injustice in this world and seek to make it right in whatever way you can. You want to see humanity reach its highest potential. But though you are very compassionate, it expresses itself in a more logical manner than emotional. You have an almost scientific process you go through to try and find solutions to problems. You're friendly with most everyone, and indeed you love meeting new people almost as much as you like exploring new ideas. There is a tightrope you walk, however, because you never let yourself get /too/ deeply involved. You have a great love for the unknown and may have a highly developed intuition; some may even be a bit clairvoyant. In love you can tend to play the social butterfly role some more... you may have many acquaintances or dates, but nothing really serious. It's not that you don't /want/ to commit eventually, you just fear being controlled or suffocated by another person. Possessive, jealous, clingy types need not apply. You want to be close, but not smothered. Everything in moderation suits you well. You can also have an attraction to the unattainable, allowing you to have all the romantic drama while preserving your freedom. You tend to settle down later than most, and the most important quality in a relationship for you is communication. Above all you /need/ to have a mental rapport with anyone you commit to: if you can't carry on a good conversation, odds are it won't last.
If your Sun is also in Air, your mindpower is enhanced, as is your talent for adapting to different groups of people and points of view.
If your Sun is in Fire, your intuition and creativity are enhanced, as is your ability to relate to others.
If your Sun is in Earth, Aquarius Moon makes you more inventive and gives you a knack for problem-solving.
If your Sun is in Water, Aquarius Moon enhances any psychic/intuitive abilites you may have, your visions or even just your imaginings may be almost photographic in their clarity.
Moon in Pisces
Light Side: You're more compassionate, sensitive, loving, creative, loyal.
Dark Side: You're more indecisive, discontent, vague, secretive, gullible.
You're one big ball of emotion; everything in your life seems to be processed through the emotions first, and indeed that's probably where your priorities lie. To you success is not about worldly things; it's about love, companionship and happiness. You're a true romantic and may fall into the trap of seeing things as you wish they were, instead of how they really are. You truly want to believe the best of others people, and can be quite shocked when they betray you or deceive you. Often you find the real world too harsh and unfeeling, and you escape to your imagination and your dreams of what could be. Your creativity is strong and so is your intuition; you can be quite the mystic, as your intuition allows you to understand complex spiritual concepts. Though you have great ideas you may lack the courage to follow them and instead follow others who may not have your best interests at heart, or who simply may not do things as well as you would given the chance. You also tend to let others make your decisions for you. In love you search for the soul mate, but more than that you want the romance to continue the whole way through a relationship. You don't expect constant excitement, but you want the tender feelings and heartfelt gestures to be part of your daily life. You delight in making others happy, even at the expense of your own needs.
If your Sun is also in Water, Pisces Moon intensifies your intuition and spiritual interests,as well as enhancing any artistic talents.
If your Sun is in Earth, your emotions and intuition are more grounded, and you're more able to make and achieve goals for yourself and for the benefit of others.
If your Sun is in Fire, a great amount of energy and enthusiasm is poured into your creative endeavors, you also have the ability to deeply connect with others in an almost mesmerizing way.
If your Sun is in Air, your mental powers are given a boost by your intuition, ehnacing your visionary tendencies and your ability to bring your imaginings into reality.

Moon in Pisces, Sun in Taurus.... yup, that's me. I'd rather do things for other people than do it for myself... it's actually what I consider one of my biggest faults. With me it's to the point where I can't get anything done unless someone else needs me to do it. And everything gets checked by feelings first and head later. First impressions are huge with me. If I get a bad vibe when I first meet you, I'll never truely trust the person... been bitten in the ass one too many times for not listening to my feelings.

Libran moon, capricorn sun. hit the nail on the head. And in the true nature of balance and harmony, i'm gonna claim some of the light side and some of the dark side..... an indecicive peacemaker. i even gained the title of social real estate in high school because everyone wanted to be my friend so i had to organise them all and try to make sure they didn't all rip each other to piueces. My group of friends in high school were the leftovers, the ones that don't really belong anywhere else but with each other. And for three years, there were me and my best friend Yol keeping the peace until she moved schools to do music and i was left to handle them..... Interestingly, Yol was born ten hours after me, i was born in Melbourne, she in Perth. We've been mistaken for sisters cos our personalities are very similar and we even look alike too. Very freaky.

If your Sun is in Air, Cancer Moon adds a deeper level of relating to your social skills, your thoughts can touch others on a deeper level and vice versa.
A least understood sign for me. I can see the crab shell and keeping my emotions locked under it. Though people never see that in me. I tend t also be the peacekeeper in situations though I'm not sure it's really out of caring, just my own stubborn wants. As far as a connection to others, I seem to have a strong connection there. I've never met someone I felt I couldn't understand. As far as intution and being pyschic...maybe it's just untapped? The relationships and finding someone who is truely worthy is a statement definately befitting of me. Everything is also very dependant on my mood. My sun is in an air sign...which I guess the description is accurate as well, since I seem to relate with people on that deeper level.

i know what you mean about first impressions. i was at this party a while ago, and there was this one guy there who i'd known for years, but that night, i got such a sense of danger from him that i almost felt scared of him. I spent the night avoiding being left alone with him. And it was more than the fact that he (and many other people too) were drunk. It was more than that. I wanted to run away from him, taking my best friend with me. I'd felt uncomfortable around him when i saw him at school, but it was the worst that night. i'm pretty cautious and shy around strangers, and though i knew pretty much everyone at that party, he was the only one i truly wished wasn't there. It was a very weird night. I've never felt anything quite like it before.

Yaaay A good one at last!!! A compassionate friendly intuitive clairvoyant moderate inventive Capricorn/Capricorn! That's me!
Is this right? Did you mean the light side as referring to the New Moon to Full Moon, and Dark side as meaning from Full Moon to Dark Moon?
Or was the Light Side/Dark Side referring to the light and dark side of a personality?

Moon in Capricorn
Light Side: You're more determined, responsible, disciplined, patient, commited.

If your Sun is also in Earth, take a vacation! Right now! I mean it! Seriously though, your hard work will bring you success, but don't fall into the workaholic trap. Success doesn't always equal happiness.
This is very, very true! Although, I'll be interested to see where the other side of my personality comes from, though.. because it's about 180* from this... how I act around my friends, and situations comfortable to me. But I guess that'll come later. No complaints as of yet.. I just wish I knew where your spies were hiding! :2G:

I've never met someone I felt I couldn't understand. As far as intution and being pyschic...maybe it's just untapped?
It kinda ends up being the same thing. I use to do the same thing, still do at times. the intuition and pyschic part is just a deeper level of understanding.

Did you have a chart drawn yet? There's a thread for it in this forum... :)
Your Sun is represented in the chart by a circle with a dot in the middle. The Moon symbol is a crescent Moon... the other planets are a bit trickier; but punxzen has posted a list of the symbols in our References thread. :)

Heh, heh. Cancer moon, Taurus sun. It seems that there are plenty of moon in Cancer folks here so I'll refrain from any further explanation. The description works for me!
I'd just like to add that I think that having my moon in Cancer makes me more scatterbrained and day-dreamy than my Taurus sun would imply. ;)

I guess I never really looked at it that way. I always tend to take understanding people for granted. I figure everyone understands what it means to be human. *shrugs*
I didn't realize there were so many people with Cancer Moon. *weird*
Imbrium I pretty scattered-brained and day-dreamy too...but then I tend to peg that on other signs in my chart.

Sagittarius Moon here. Pretty much me... not all, but most. I'm not brutally honest and the stuff about lovers is a little off... I really want a combo bestfriend/soulmate who can let me be independent and give me my space, but who will also stay up until dawn in "deep" talk. But, all in all, pretty good. :)

Moon in Leo
Light Side: You're more exuberant, creative, broad-minded, colorful, fun-loving.
Dark Side: You're more self-indulgent, self-centered, conceited, overbearing.
Your emotions tend towards the dramatic. You have a definite flair for self-expression and have a great sense of pride, though this may mask an inner insecurity 8O . In love, you're a definite romantic and passionate to boot, but also may have some issues with too-high expectations. But rather than finding someone new when things get dull, you're more and willing to put in the effort to spice what you have back up and make things fun again :).
thats me :D
If your Sun is in Water, your creativity and emotions blend to enable to bond more deeply with others. this combined with the overbearing aspect tends to intimidate people out of my life rather reliably...

i think im a fairly easy-going moon in leo, my piscean sun and aquarian mercury help to keep things balanced, but that can also be what leads me to take my magnificence for granted sometimes... :smileroll but seriously, im very conscious of my overbearing demeanor, and my gentle megalomania. one thing you left out of your description, that i find very apparent in myself, is what i read in a book (a new one i found called Mythastrology, have ya read it mrs kadynas?) about us leo moons being very forthright and honest about our inner selves. i dont hide (though usually i am discreet about) my feelings regarding anything, nor would i ever dream of pretending that i felt something i didnt, or that i didnt feel something i did.

The bold being true of me, except for the last one. While I, at times, crave inelligent conversation, most of the time I'm fine with any conversation. I don't like long, drawn out silences between myself and other people. At the same time, I don't like being the one to have to carry the conversation. I'm also quite introverted, thus, I'm not really a social butterfly. I have a few friends, and don't often see them either. Most of the time, I'd rather be at home reading or something.
And one last one.. :p The unknown scares the crap outta me!

Whoa. That fits me perfectly.
Anyway....CONGRATULATIONS!! :boing: :flowers: :thewave: :clapping: :dancy:

If your Sun is also in Earth, take a vacation! Right now! I mean it! Seriously though, your hard work will bring you success, but don't fall into the workaholic trap. Success doesn't always equal happiness.
That's me exactly. Especially the things in bold.

Then I usually regret the whole unpleasant thing..I'm blaming it on the moon in scoripio.

That's kinda my idea of astrology: learning more about what makes you tick so you can work with it and change the reactions you don't like, or how to use a particular trait to your advantage instead of your detriment. :) "Blaming the stars" does nothing, because the stars don't /make/ us do anything. They're simply the energies at work in our lives; what we do with them is up to us. And my personal belief is that, before we incarnate, we choose everything in our charts for specific reasons. :)

Thanks all for being so patient... unfortunately I won't have the Moon aspects up til I get back from vacation. I leave Thursday, but I'm not sure exactly what day I'll be coming back home. So hopefully this will tide you over for a little bit.
Moon in the First House
You may take a lot of pride in your intuition and your emotional sensitivities; some of you may even be empaths. You have an instinct for understanding others' feelings and for what is needed to make them feel better. The closer the Moon is to the Ascendant, the more of a "mother hen" you could be; one doesn't need to have children in order to mother, and you have a way of making those close to you feel special and taken care of. You like to be appreciated however, and can feel resentful when others take you for granted. You have a lot of imagination and are able to express yourself well emotionally. But you may have insecurity issues, or moods that seem to change as quickly as the Moon itself.
Moon in the Second House
The Moon is known for its phases, and as we continue through the houses, you'll see this theme applied. In the Second House, it's your finances that seem to go through changes most often. A problem is that you could fall into the trap of thinking your finances make or break you; that if you don't have enough you will never be secure or feel stable. But at the worst, you could tie your entire self-worth to the number that shows up on your paycheck. On the good side though, you're likely to earn through your imagination and creative in some way, which increases your sense of self-worth. Anything in which you're dealing with the public could be good for you as well, and your intuition can be a great asset to the business world. You're quite capable of rolling through your financial changes by tuning into your intuition more and ignoring "impulse spending" on things that only makes you feel better for a short time. You could end up staying in a job that takes you for granted because it feels "safer" than starting over somewhere else.
Moon in the Third House
Your emotions tend to color your thought processes... you may have a photographic memory and a strong imagination. Things are much easier for you to remember if your emotions are engaged. Your opinions on things often come from how they make you feel. You may feel defensive if others insist you ignore your emotions in favor of logic... you have your own blend of both, with a tendency to rationalize emotions and try to make sense of your feelings to yourself and others. You're also good at doing this for other people and may be an amateur shrink. :) You tend to daydream a lot and may have trouble focusing your mind in one area in particular, your interests tend to go through phases, and you might enjoy taking up a new hobby or class every once in a while. You need exposure to new things and accept change best when you're the one initiating it.
Moon in the Fourth House
The Moon is strong here as it controls the Fourth house. As much as the Moon loves a happy home life and having a place of their own, people with the Moon in the Fourth tend to move several times in their lifetime. To them home is not so much a building as it is their family and community. Family is very important to you, and you may even build your whole life around them. You will make sacrifices to ensure their happiness, but be careful to get your own needs met as well. Like the First House Moons, you're very intuitive about the needs and desires of others, though this is more something shown to your own family unit than the world at large. Someone must earn your trust before they are allowed into your inner circle, although once they do, you may never let them leave! You tend to "adopt" friends rather than "make" friends. :) You could find success or pleasure in the business of real estate or antiques, as well as anything that evokes strong memories. Some of you are also devoted scholars of history or geneaology: the continuity of life through the ages makes you feel secure in a deep profound way.
Moon in the Fifth House
Romance in the area of life where you tend to go through phases the most... you approach love through your emotions, and though you may have a lot of common sense, it may tend to go out the window when romance comes to town. :) You tend to react impulsively in love, when listening to your intuition more would lead you to greater happiness. Your first impulses aren't always on target, and it might take awhile for the object of your affection to show his/her true colors, and this may lead to disappointment if they don't live up to your expectations. (The phrase "I'll always cherish the initial misconceptions I had about you" comes to mind. ) The good thing is that once you tune into your intuition more and take more time to get to know your partners, you have the capacity to bond very deeply. If you are any kind of artist, you may also see some phases show up there: sometimes inspiration possesses you to the wee hours of the morning, othertimes you wonder where the heck it went! The fifth house also rules over children, and it's possible you may change your mind several times about whether or not you even want to be a parent. If you do decide to have children though, you tend to be very in tune with their talents and able to bring out the best in them, but may also be a bit over-protective.
Moon in the Sixth House
Your emotions are intertwined with your health... More than most people, negative emotions can actually make you physically ill, so it's important to have a good method for de-stressing yourself. Above all it's important for you not to hold your emotions too tightly inside: they need to be expressed. The sixth house is very health-conscious and with the Moon here, you may find your body intuitively knows what it needs. (ie: you could get food cravings out of nowhere that make up a nutrient that your body is low on.) The sixth house also has to do with work, although not so much your career or calling, as it is your work environment. You may go through several job changes til you find out where you fit in and what you truly want to do. You also want to do something useful, and mindless busy-work can bring you to tears. Work that helps other people in some way may also be the most fulfilling for you. I also know a couple vets with this placement, and with the Moon in the 6th, your pets may feel more like family members than mere animals. Cuddling with a furry friend can also relieve a lot of stress for you. :)
Moon in the Seventh House
Your phases tend to be seen in your partnerships, and indeed your whole sense of security and well-being can be tied up with how harmonious your closest relationships are. Your intuition tends to serve you best by picking up on your partner's needs and wants. Again there is the danger of doing so much for another that you neglect yourself, or push your own unhappiness under the rug in order to keep the peace or not "rock the boat". You are very passionate, and marriage or any kind of deeply committed relationship can really open up new worlds for you. You may have some issues with jealousy and possessiveness however... either or your part or your partners: if so, you're either the one who does the smothering or the one being smothered. There can also be issues of personal space... while it's great to have a deep psychic bond with a loved one, it can sometimes be a little too close for comfort to one or both of you.
Moon in the Eighth House
With this placement your psychic abilities tend to be enhanced, and you can even bring about some powerful healing for yourself and others. Many books will tell you that this is a good position for doctors or psychologists and your intuition is a strong asset in these areas. You have a subconscious understanding of what makes people tick, and what is needed to help them. You're also deeply interested in finding a deeper meaning for the every day happenings of life, and interpersonal relationships intrigue you. Your interests may lead you to the occult and these subjects fascinate you. You have a strong will that can be channeled into whatever purpose you want to achieve. You are quite passionate sexual and are able to bond with others on a deep level. As this is also the house that concerns inheritances and joint finances you may find yourself creating or being the recipient of a legacy of some sort. Possessiveness can also show up here, and you must be careful not to use your powerful intuition to manipulate others.
Moon in the Ninth House
Your emotions tend to take a philosophical bent...whereas 8th house Moons are more concerned with the inner motivations and digging beneath the surface, you seek to find comfort and security in your philosophy or spirituality. Your spiritual path can be a great anchor for you, helping you to make sense of things that are hard to understand. You also enjoy speculating about your beliefs and those of others, you like to expand your mind and find connections between people, things and ideas. Travel is a healing balm for you, and sometimes "getting away from it all" and immersing yourself in a different place or setting can work wonders for you emotionally. You're less possessiveness than other Moon placements and your nurturing tendencies tend to be directed to the world in general; you'd like to see a world in which everyone can get along and work for the greater good, and you can intuitively sense ways to bring this into reality. Your intuition tends to bring you good ways of connecting with others despite whatever differences there may be between you. You're also generous with your time and energy, and there may be a special cause you devote yourself to.
The Moon in the Tenth House
Your emotions and intuition are in tune with the public "pulse" and this can be an asset to you in your career. You may feel pulled towards the care-giving professions or your imagination could be a large part of your work. Whatever you do, you need to feel appreciated and respected, as though your employers and co-workers depend on you and need you in some way. You want your hard work to be rewarded and respected. Feeling successful in your career is important to your sense of well-being. You may end up so successful though that you don't have much of a private life, whether it's because you become famous or whether you're simply becoming a workaholic. You may feel the best way to show your love for your family is to provide them with a good living, but you need to take the time to enjoy them as well. You may end up being the matriarch or patriarch of your clan, the one family and friends turn to for advice and guidance.
Moon in the Eleventh House
The phrase "friends are your chosen family" applies to you... Your friends are usually very close ones, though you may find you have many that come and go.. In general your really close friends tend to be friends for life, those that you can't rely upon you're more than willing to let go, although with a sense of sadness. Your nurturing abilities find an outlet in helping friends and others realize their dreams and encouraging them to go after them; you have a real knack for inspiring positive change in others. You have a great deal of social grace and charm, and you know how to make others feel comfortable and open up. Your imagination may play a big part in your life and you may find yourself drawn to groups that help you develop it. You may have a tendency to idealize others and leave yourself open to deception; you may also be unable to see anything negative in those you care about.
Moon in the Twelfth House
Your emotions may be hard to bring to the surface... whether it has to do with a fear of rejection or simply being hurt by another, you tend to guard your emotions tightly. You may also be more emotionally sensitive, and see insult where none was intended. You tend to take everything personally, even if you put on a brave face to the world. Emotions around you have the power to affect you deeply; you may even find yourself taking on the emotions of others, and this is another Moon position that can produce a great deal of empathy. You may need to learn how to shield yourself from others' negativity. You need your time alone to balance yourself out, but you also need to learn how to truly connect with others, which is where your intuition is a great help. You do need to guard against betrayal, but also know when to let that guard down. When you do find someone you trust enough to show your true self to, there are no limits to your love and devotion. You have a great imagination and quite possibly a lot of artisitc talent.

This one is pretty well on the mark for me. I highlight the part about moving because yep! Moving again! Always wanted to put down some roots, but life has had a way of making me a frequent transplant! 22 moves so far...23 coming up...:whatmewor

That has me to a degree. This aspect of my life has just started to manifest in the past 15 years. Prior to that I was completely immersed in my career, and I still have trouble juggling my spirituality with my career. I feel guilty when I don't spend all my time on work related issue. OMG did you see what I just wrote. I NEED a cure for this guilt! :hairraise

Bold is everything that I really feel connected to.. I'm an empath, and can use that to lighten the load on others if I feel up to it. I want to go into cultural anthropology, which deals a lot with interpersonal relationships and what makes people tick. I don't get the possessiveness a lot, especially in romantic relationships, but I have seen that sometimes my jealous side can come out when dealing with my closest friends. All in all, I think I'm going to start leaving cookies and milk to distract the spies, Kadynas :T

That's just too eerie, and one of the reason why I laugh at people who say astrology doesn't work. The bold is me to a T, italics are me with a twist... I have a Pisces moon, so most of that traveling tends to be internal, either through meditation, reading, or writing.

 All occult means is "hidden", and lots of things fall into this category: Tarot, Astrology, Witchcraft, Psychic stuff... It doesn't mean anything bad, but people have used it in such a way that some think it must have to do with something evil. :) As for your inheritance, I have no idea...

Donna Cunningham wrote a book called "Moon Signs" which I found absolutely amazing. She talks about how some people with moon in Scorpio may have mothers who aren't entirely there because of a death or loss..My Grandmother died less than a year before I was born and my mother was consumed by it. My oldest 2 children both have their moons in Scorpio and my mother died when they were 1 and 2, and I will just say that when she died it left a sadness that stays with me to this day. I feel that my Moon sign is an equal part of me with the Sun. I also see my Ascedant as a big part of me..Idon't really separate the three..I know there is a lot more to it, but thats just how I feel.

No, but your husband may be on to something, nonetheless. My husband and I are taking this class together, and many times I have read something and thought "that's not me", only to have him read the same thing and think "that is soooooooooooo her!". Then when we talk about it, I see his point of view... and all of a sudden it "feels right". Sometimes, at least for me, I get my "ideal" of myself mixed up with who I really am, and in these cases, it helps to have someone on the outside help me focus on reality vs my ideal.

 My mother and I happen to share a Moon in Virgo, which can get really annoying to our loved ones!
It is funny how we seem to inherit certain traits, and even funnier how these can usually be found in chart connections between family members. While my Mom and I both have that Moon in Virgo, my baby brother has his Venus close to the same degree, and our maternal Grandmother has her Jupiter and Ascendant there! And I could do the same thing with my Venus in Taurus, which I share with my Mother (again! ) and my /other/ brother, who has a stellium of Taurus planets there. Not all families, obviously, will have a lot of these connections, but you can generally find at least a couple links from yourself to each member in your family. I've even found this to be true in friends who were adopted! They didn't have their time of birth for the chart, but nothing was changing signs on their birthday...

Moon & Mercury Aspects
Conjunction: You're able to blend the intellect and emotions better than most... you're very smart with a vivid imagination. You may find your thoughts are colored with an emotional tone more than you'd like, but then you can also use your emotions to summon up an almost photographic memory of just about anything! :) Your intuition is usually on target as well. Your emotional sensitivity can be a blessing or a curse: you find it easier to realte to others' feelings, but may be too defensive of others' comments or opinions about you.
Sextile/Trine: A good balance of the mind and emotions... good insight into other people's motivations. You may be a great entertainer as well; you like to keep your friends and loved ones happy and upbeat. You have great communication skills and this can be an asset to you in your learning or career environments. You also tend to be a fast learner with a good memory. A lot of books say this is a good aspect for writers and I would agree, as it seems to give a knack for reaching others emotionally through your words, even if you only write them and never speak them.
Square/Opposition: You might be a little tense and high strung; Mercury and the Moon are giving you an abundance of energy that you don't seem to know what to do with. You may find yourself nervous and shy in dealing with other people, or on the other hand, talk way too much to mask your feelings of insecurity. You may find it difficult to put your feelings into words and can be frustrated in your dealings with other people as a result. You may also find yourself to be misunderstood a lot of the time, with people taking the things you say "the wrong way"... obviously communication is something you're learning to master, but you may have to go through a long stage of awkwardness first.
Moon & Venus Aspects
Conjunction: Others find you to be quite friendly and a peaceful, calm influence. You find it easy to "go with the flow" and aren't overly ambitious. You tend to let things & people come to you rather than go after them; what's meant to be will be and you're content to wait. :) You probably won't be waiting long as others probably enjoy pleasing you, since you tend to have a healing effect on others: they just feel good when they're around you! :) You may have a great deal of artistic talent as well... About the only downside of this aspect is the possibility of becoming a little too self-centered or self-indulgent, but you're so good to those you love that they tend to overlook this most of the time.
Sextile/Trine: You're a very affectionate and mostly optimistic person... and you definitely have charm! :) You may have many close friends, and people seem to sense that they can trust you. You're usually quite generous with your loved ones and do your best to keep them happy. You have some artistic talent as well and like to be surrounded by eye-pleasing settings; your talented eye can instantly sense when two colors of clashing or a painting is crooked: you know how to create balance and harmony around you. This aspect usually indicates happy marriages or partnerships, as you try to please yourself and the other person in equal measure. There also seems to be a knack for attracting to yourself just what is needed at a particular moment.
Square/Opposition: Here we see a bit of moodiness creeping in! Whereas the others tend to go with the flow and meet their changes gracefully, you may feel like your whole world is falling apart. You take comfort in routine, but the universe likes to break you out of your ruts. You can find that some of your problems are caused by either carelessness, or being so self-centered that you tune out the world around you. This is not to say that you're conceited: more that you see everything in terms of yourself and how it affects you, and may focus on the "woe is me!" drama a little too much. If this is not the case, then it may be that you have erected elaborate defenses against the rest of the world to keep from being hurt: you may feel as though noone has ever truly loved you, or that love only ends in pain, or that you yourself are the only one you can count on. Not a happy place to be, but the only way out is through the thing you fear the most: opening yourself completely to another person. Nothing ventured, nothing gained! Only when you learn to truly love yourself - instead of that false bravado you tend to wear - will you find someone worthy of you.
Moon & Mars Aspects
Conjunction: You have a great deal of courage and very good instincts. People definitely find you to be intense, and your emotions are very passionate which can be both a good or a bad thing if carried to extremes. The Moon and Mars are not the best of friends, and this aspect can create an obsessive personality, whether that obsession is directed towards a person or a particular goal. You have a lot of determination and will power on your side: just be sure you use your powers for good! This aspect usually grants success in your ambitions, just for the sheer focus and effort you put into them.
Sextile/Trine: You're able to focus your energy towards your goals in an effective way. You finish what you start, and though you can get a little grumbly if someone stands in your way, you generally don't hold any major grudges. You tend to have a lot more control over your emotions than the Conjunction does, and you use your will power to self-discipline yourself. You tend to have a great deal of confidence and also a lot of charisma... others seem to be drawn to you and fascinated by you. Your energy seems to be endless and leads you to success. Nothing seems to keep you down for long, and you're usually quite healthy.
Square/Opposition: You can be a little too touchy, taking things way too personally and taking offense where none was meant. You have a strong independent streak, and despise being told what to do. You have trouble with authority figures, though you're willing to take orders from those you can respect. But "just anyone" better not expect you to do something just because they said so. (/Some/ men with this aspect may resent taking orders from a woman as well...) Your moodiness can be a symptom of stress, and working out your frustrations in a physical way, such as sports or exercise, can be a tremendous help to you. You're very impatient and hate to wait for anything, you want to make things happen, but your impulsiveness can result in you not getting what you really wanted. A healthy outlet for your energies, developing patience, and using strategy to get what you want can make a world of difference.
Moon & Jupiter Aspects
Conjunction: This aspect could be summed up as "plays well with others". You tend to get along well with many different types of people, and find your differences a plus rather than a negative. You tend to learn much from other people and other ways of life, and you like to explore these things. You also tend to learn good lessons from your own mistakes. People may see you as being wise beyond your years, and indeed there seems to be an almost intuitive understanding of the way the world works within you. You tend to have a positive worldview, and develop your own philosophies of the hows and whys of life, as well as religion and things dealing with faith. You enjoy travel and expanding your horizons and usually enjoy good health.
Sextile/Trine: You tend to have a healthy amount of optimism and are generally a friendly person to those around you. You have a strong intuition that almost always points you in the right direction. You try to find the good in every one and every situation, but at the same time you will not allow yourself to be gullible or misled. Spirituality is important to you, whether you follow the religion of your family & ancestors, or develop a new path all your own. At any rate your own personal philosophy is something from which you draw strength, and it may even be an inspiration to others. Friends and loved ones may come to you for advice and help, and you are generally able to give others some perspective on their problems.
Square/Opposition: Here your good nature may get taken advantage of... with this aspect you tend to see only the best in people and can be easily fooled. Your desire to help others - while admirable - can get you into trouble if you're helping the wrong people, or neglecting your own needs in the process. You may also be too extravagant, too much of a big spender. On the other hand, this aspect can also show someone who closes themself off from others, whether through narrow-mindedness or by clinging to strict relgious or moral codes. Instead of expanding your mind and "seeing the big picture" as Jupiter is known for, you may waste too much thought and energy on the small, unimportant things and make mountains out of molehills. You may also be too stubborn in your views, unwilling to see anyone else's side of things. You need to develop some tolerance, but at the same time be careful of not going to the other extreme of believing anything that comes along.
Moon & Saturn Aspects
Conjunction: Normally this two planets are the exact opposite of each other in meaning, so having them conjunct each other can be quite... interesting! The good part of this aspect is that you seldom let your emotions run away with you; you're able to deal with things rationally and calmly most of the time. You're also not impulsive; your emotions tend to come through in a more thoughtful way and you carefully consider your actions ahead of time. You may be shy or withdrawn, but usually Saturn gives stability to the Moon's turbulent emotions rather than suppressing them altogether. It may be others' emotions you have more trouble with, as you find it hard to understand people who let their emotions rule over their logic.
Sextile/Trine: Your patience is an asset to you, combined with an intuitive insight into others' motivations. You're a bit more tactful than those with the Conjunction, and people tend to take your advice as a good thing rather than as mere criticism. You're generally a cautious person, but you don't allow that to hold you back from snatching up a good opportunity. You're able to handle changes more gracefully than most, and indeed you've usually planned for a variety of different outcomes to most of the important things in your life. You're quite loyal to your loved ones, and have a talent for bringing dreams (yours or theirs) into practical reality.
Square/Opposition: Your lack of self-confidence can be a major problem for you... you tend to second guess yourself, or worse feel as though everyone else is out to get you! There can be problems with stress in the workplace, or depression in general. You have trouble getting in touch with your own emotions, and maybe you aren't even sure what it would take to make you happy. You may feel pushed to "make something of yourself", thinking that success will bring you the happiness you seek. It very well may, but only if you take the time to discover your own idea of success, rather than blindly subscribing to society's ideas of it. The square in particular can give you the kick in the butt and energy needed to really fulfill your desires if you're willing to be honest with yourself about what those desires are. The opposition tends to show another case of walling yourself off from others to spare yourself rejection, or throwing yourself into your work to avoid emotional situations. Just make sure that whatever you're throwing yourself into is something that will lead you to some kind of happiness and fulfillment, and not just being used as a way to avoid the rest of your life.
Moon & Uranus Aspects
Conjunction: Another original eccentric! You're different and you like it... you value your independence and like to "bravely go where noone has gone before". You're not necessarily a Trekkie of course, but you are on their mission: new ideas, explorations, inventions and imagination are a strong focus in your life, or at the very least, a big asset to your life goals. You're probably quite unpredictable, at times a trend setter, and you don't want to do something just because "everyone else is doing it". And you may even look down on people who try to "copy" you! In your mind, everyone should be their own person and not simply follow "the herd" or peer pressure. But for the most part, you're very open-minded and get along well with others. Even you can realize that there are times when conformity is necessary. ;)
Sextile/Trine: Like the conjunction, you strongly value the new, the original and the imaginative, but you're also willing to bend with the winds when needed. Your intuition usually leads you on the right path and you have a bit more tact in dealing with people. You like variety, and use change to your advantage. Boredom is a fate worse than death, and you'd gladly sacrifice a little stability for some genuine excitement. You have a great sense of timing, and you tend to be quite magnetic: drawing the people and things needed to propell you forward in your quest. You're always looking ahead. You may also have a talent and/or interest in metaphysics or the occult... (Your teacher has the Sextile! )
Square/Opposition: You may find yourself restless and bored much of the time... nothing seems to interest you for long. You're looking for something, but you don't know what that something is, and until you find it you're perpetually unsatisfied. You have many talents, but may not have unlocked them or worked at strengthening them enough. Your intuition comes in flashes that you may not understand... the universe may use suuden change or crisis to get your attention and put you on the right track. You either view the world and your place in it with confusion or distrust. You may distance yourself from others in order to preserve your independence. Like the conjunction you scorn those who follow the herd, but in your case it's because, deep down, you never felt like you fit in anywhere and you really wanted to. Move past your old wounds and find a way to develop a stronger connection to your intuition. :)
Moon & Neptune Aspects
Conjunction: You're got a kind heart and a warm personality, and a kind of psychic attachment to other people. This is one of the "psychic sponge" aspects you may have heard me talk about when doing readings, and this aspect in particular may be one of the strongest. You can be so psychically open and/or connected to other peoples' emotions that you take on those same emotions, and then find yourself wondering why you feel that way. There's a great amount of empathy symbolized by this aspect, and learning some form of shielding and/or psychic "self-defense" could be helpful for you. Too much emotional negativity can make you physically ill, or even mentally so by manifesting in depression or panic disorders. But on the positive side, you're able to truly understand others and can share deep bonds with your loved ones. You just need to learn how to take in the good and keep out the bad. :) A creative outlet can also be a tremendous benefit, and your imagination is very vivid.
Sextile/Trine: Your imagination is quite powerful, you see things in vivid images, and any creative work you engage in is likely to be quite moving emotionally. More than most, you may feel a driving need to create. Like the conjunction, you have an intuitive connection to others around you, but it isn't quite so overpowering: you've learned to sort your emotions from others, and try not to let yourself be affected by others moods. Your psychic talents may also be quite powerful, and it's likely that you have a gift for healing others in some way. Your intuition is also a great asset to you in understanding broad spiritual ideas and concepts.
Square/Conjunction: You're definitely a dreamer, and just because these are considered the "hard" aspects doesn't mean that you're any less blessed with enormous vision and creativity. But where you may have trouble is bringing your dreams to life, or getting past the dreaming stage at all. You may have a great deal of talent that goes unused, and yet at the same time, developing your creativity and imagination is what you want the most. You may have clear goals, but the steps leading up to them are hazy and confused. You may also find yourself caught up in others illusions; whether it's the book that promises to change your life or the lover who promises everything you've ever dreamed of... you're not gullible just in general; you're more susceptible to deception when someone is promising to make your dreams come true and need to beware the "quick fix" that will solve all your problems. You also suffer from the "psychic sponge" problem mentioned above to some degree, and in some cases it may be you projecting your emotions onto others. The only way to really get what you want is to take your imagination and ground it: find ways to bring your dreams into reality, create small steps and achievable goals for yourself and put as much effort into the "work" part as you do the fantasizing; and realize that noone can give you what you want - you have to create it for yourself.
Moon & Pluto Aspects
Conjunction: Intense doesn't even begin to describe you! This is a powerful combination, and how you control it (or allow it to control you) makes all the difference. Emotionally you're very intense, and others may find you a drain on their energies. You may also hold on to your loved ones so tightly that they yearn for escape! Everyone needs a little breathing room, even you, and meditation can do wonders to calm the storms within you. Part of the intensity is that you're so open to the psychic energies around all of us, and thus they affect you more strongly. This is said to be a powerful aspect of "true" psychics, and with the right amount of control and development, it could be a wonderful gift. Others may sense your powers, and be drawn to your magnetism... it just remains to be seen if they can handle you! Anyone involved with you will have to face their deeper selves, and some would rather not do that, even though the rewards can be amazing.
Sextile/Trine: Changes in your life are often for the better, even if they don't seem to be at the time. You probably have psychic gifts even if you haven't realized it yet and a mystical will power that can be employed to help you achieve whatever you desire. You may feel you have a special destiny to fulfill, and may see signposts all around you pointing you to the next step in your quest. Connecting with and facing your emotions is healing for you. Your emotions are quite intense and passionate as well, but you have a great control over them and use them responsibly. You're quite magnetic and often draw others to you who are interested in the deeper side of life as you are.
Square/Conjunction: Moody doesn't even cover it... Your emotions and moods fluctuate rapidly and you can't always pinpoint the cause. You may resist change through trying to be in control of everything, which makes the changes seem worse than they really are. You have an enormous amount of energy, but it may burn out too quickly. Your willpower is more about getting your way than any kind of self-discipline, and you follow your impulses more than your intuition - which, by the way, is just as gifted as someone who has the Trine. You may tend to cut others out of your life too hastily, and you see things in black or white terms: they're either a friend or an enemy, you either love something or hate it. There's not a lot of in-between with you... You may also have problems with jealousy. You need to realize that the only person you can control is yourself, and work on making yourself the person you want to be. Developing a stronger connection with your intuition can bring you blessings every bit as grand as a Trine if you're willing to work for it, and any kind of creative or physical outlet can be a great release of all that energized stress within you.

Ha! Bet you thought I'd forgotten about the rest! Here goes... Just remember that these ones work in pairs... :)
Moon & Node Aspects
Moon Conjunct North Node/Opposed South Node:
You tend to have good timing and this propells you foward in your goals... You remember the past and learn from it, but you don't allow it to hold you back in patterns of negative behavior. You intuitively sense where you need to go and what you need to do to advance. Change is beneficial to you, and you can usually spot the deeper meaning and/or lesson behind most of the major events in your life. Your emotional and intuitive nature is an asset on your path.
Moon Conjunct South Node/Opposed North Node:
Your timing isn't that great... you find yourself in the wrong place at the wrong time and you're not even sure how you got there! You may feel resentful over missed opportunities or the seemingly easy lives that everyone else is living. A possible problem is that you live too much in the past, or even cling to past-life behaviors which - positive or negative - no longer serve your goals. You might also find yourself confused about just want your goals really are! Look to the sign of the North Node to give you some clues... The Moon here shows a deep emotional attachment to the past... use that as the springboard to your future.
Moon Sextile/Trine the Nodes:
You may have fond memories of the past or strong past life connections to other people, but you've learned to sort between what is past and what is needed for your future. You're tying up some karmic loose ends, so to speak, so that you are free and unencumbered in moving towards your life goals. The Moon is these aspects gives a strong intuition that is an amazingly accurate guide, as well as urging you to be true to your inner self - and thus your purpose for being.
Moon Square the Nodes:
This aspect creates a T-Square pattern and so can be quite frustrating. You need to balance the past with the future... Like the trine you need to decide what from your past is worth keeping and what is holding you back. With the Moon being the focal point of the T-Square, what's holding you back are more than likely old emotional wounds, bad habits with their roots in insecurity, and unconscious biases against certain people that are no longer appropriate.
Moon & Ascendant/Descendant Aspects
Moon Conjunct Ascendant/Opposed Descendant:
You have a great emotional connection to others, and tend to see everything through an emotional lens. You have a kind heart and lots of compassion but you may not always be able to see things objectively because of your intense emotional involvement. You see the world in terms of how things will make you feel, as well as how they will affect your security. People see you as imaginative and sensitive.
Moon Conjunct Descendant/Opposed Ascendant:
People sense in you a nurturing quality, and you have a gift for taking care of others. But as with anyone who devotes themselves so fully to loved ones and strangers alike, remember to take care of yourself as well so you have something to offer all your own. There's a danger of allowing oneself to become too dependant on their partners or mates, and allowing their entire emotional well-being to be placed in someone else's hands.
Moon Sextile/Trine Ascendant/Descendant:
You're in touch with your emotions and those of others and are generally god at maintaining as balance between the two, and this helps you a great deal in relating with and understanding others. You tend to form healthy and close relationships and these are an asset not only to your emotional well-being, but your physical health as well.
Moon Square Ascendant/Descendant:
You may have trouble in understanding your emotions or maybe just expressing them in a way that others understand... you may be subject to mood swings, and your insecurity may be to blame for some of your bad habits. You may find it hard to open yourself up to others or to truly trust another person with the "real you". As you work on these issues, you will find relationships much easier to deal with.
Moon & Midheaven/Nadir Aspects
Moon Conjunct Midheaven/Opposed Nadir:
In some way or another you will end up in the public eye. Whether it's for success in your career or fame brought about by your creative gifts, you will make a name for yourself in some way, even if it's just in your own tiny community. Your understanding of others emotions is an asset to you, but be careful not to manipulate others for your own gain.
Moon Conjunct Nadir/Opposed Midheaven:
Home and family are more important to you than worldly success. This is not to say that you won't have material gain or success, but rather that these things are not your driving focus. Your family and other close relationships offer you a great deal of support and security. You like to feel needed by others. Your intuition is strong and you may have strong psychic bonds with those close to you.
Moon Sextile/Trine Midheaven/Nadir:
Your intuition is a strong guide and your life... look deeply into the "coincidences" around you and you will see a deeper meaning, as well as the path you're meant to walk. In any event, you tend to have a good balance between work and home life. Your family and friends are a great support system that enables you to achieve your goals, which you usually do with great success.
Moon Square Midheaven/Nadir:
Whether it's your home life or your career that is most important to you, you may find that you're torn between them. Your family may think you work too much and your boss may think you aren't putting in enough time and effort at the job. You need to decide what things in life are most important to you, and balance your time accordingly. You may also find that you chose your career for stability and security reasons, and that it's really not what you want anyways. You can follow your dreams and still earn a living... your challenge is to find out how and then do it. :)

Procrastination is definitely a Mars thing, as is starting things you never finish... as we go down through the other planets' aspects, keep an eye on Mars and see if another aspect may be leading to this, probably one of the "hard" ones (Square, Opposition and some Conjunctions). :)

If you're talking Moon opposed Mars in general, a shrink would tell you that you had issues with a dominating mother, or that you didn't get /enough/ nurturing as a child.
As for how it could relate to your procrastination problem, maybe it's just that you get an emotional rush over starting something new,and the end result or finished product doesn't hold that much interest for you. This is particularly common for women, if all the books on creativity I've read are on the mark.... something about us being more interested in the process than the results.
But it could also do with the whole "fear of rejection" thing as well... you're afraid something won't be "good enough" so you never finish it, which means you get to avoid having anyone scrutinize what you've done.

Hummmmmmm, I meant the whole Mars opposed moon thing. You're right a shrink did tell me that. I had a domineering mother, and lacked nurturing.
I will need to think about the other stuff, well and the above also. I have let the behaviors of that stuff creep into my life again lately. If it goes unchecked I will not be a happy camper soon.

Moon & Mars Aspects
Sextile/Trine: You're able to focus your energy towards your goals in an effective way. You finish what you start, and though you can get a little grumbly if someone stands in your way, you generally don't hold any major grudges. You tend to have a lot more control over your emotions than the Conjunction does, and you use your will power to self-discipline yourself. You tend to have a great deal of confidence and also a lot of charisma... others seem to be drawn to you and fascinated by you. Your energy seems to be endless and leads you to success. Nothing seems to keep you down for long, and you're usually quite healthy.
Moon & Jupiter Aspects
Those seem pretty accurate. With the mars I do try to finish everything I start, specially after seeing my dad start so many projects and never follow through with them. Though I am quiet a procrastinator and it can take me years t follow through with some things.
With Jupiter, I am a big spender. I tend to spoil and help those around me. My sister says people just walk all over me because I'm nice. But I tend to gloss things over and tend to give people too much credit sometimes. But I also hit the flip side and sometimes won't give people the time of day and can be quiet stubborn in my views no matter how broad minded I try to be.
With Saturn Hmmm I wouldn't say I lack self-confidence, I have more confidence than most people I have met. But I do tend to second guess myself I'll the time. I feel that pressure to achieve. But I pretty much lost as to what direction to go. Well other than up.

Ok, I got Moon conjunct Saurn and Neptune, Sextile Pluto and Juno, and opposite Chiron. Wow, busy.. ok.
Saturn Conjunction: Normally this two planets are the exact opposite of each other in meaning, so having them conjunct each other can be quite... interesting!
I swear I must have multiple personalities... cause that and this:
Neptune Conjunction: You're got a kind heart and a warm personality, and a kind of psychic attachment to other people. A creative outlet can also be a tremendous benefit, and your imagination is very vivid.
Are completely contradictory. But both are very true..
And this:
Sextile/Trine Pluto: Changes in your life are often for the better, even if they don't seem to be at the time.

Moon & Mercury: Square: You might be a little tense and high strung; Mercury and the Moon are giving you an abundance of energy that you don't seem to know what to do with.
Well, i'm definitely shy, and people do misunderstand me every now and then. My sarcasm especially is a big hurdle. Not even my close friends know i'm being sarcastic sometimes.
Moon & Mars: Conjunction: You have a great deal of courage and very good instincts.
There is some truth in that. :D
Moon & Uranus: Sextile: Like the conjunction, you strongly value the new, the original and the imaginative, but you're also willing to bend with the winds when needed. (Your teacher has the Sextile! )
That's truer than i woul've liked. O_O Scary. an interest in the occult? No, i never would've guessed that... hehehe. Talent? we'll get back to you on that one...
Moon Sextile/Trine the Nodes: You may have fond memories of the past or strong past life connections to other people, but you've learned to sort between what is past and what is needed for your future. You're tying up some karmic loose ends, so to speak, so that you are free and unencumbered in moving towards your life goals. The Moon is these aspects gives a strong intuition that is an amazingly accurate guide, as well as urging you to be true to your inner self - and thus your purpose for being.
strong intuition? Well, it's turned up at the strangest of places, that's for sure.
Moon Sextile Ascendant: You're in touch with your emotions and those of others and are generally good at maintaining as balance between the two, and this helps you a great deal in relating with and understanding others. You tend to form healthy and close relationships and these are an asset not only to your emotional well-being, but your physical health as well.
Well, i don't suppose i'm the peace maker of the group for nothing, hey?
Moon Opposed Midheaven: Home and family are more important to you than worldly success. This is not to say that you won't have material gain or success, but rather that these things are not your driving focus. Your family and other close relationships offer you a great deal of support and security. You like to feel needed by others. Your intuition is strong and you may have strong psychic bonds with those close to you.
There's a lotta truth in that one too... You like to feel needed by others... that's always a good position to be in. If they don't need me, i'll leave 'em alone.
Finally got around to doing this, it seems.
Bright blessings,

[QUOTE=Kadynas]Moon & Mercury Aspects
[Moon & Neptune Aspects

Moon & Ceres Aspects
Conjunction: These two tend to work in harmony with each other... Both bestow a desire to feel needed and useful, to care for and nurture others. It also gives a desire to create something useful and beneficial in some way, much as Ceres was responsible for the harvests the fed the people. But it can also give the pitfalls of being so self-sacrificing that one feels resentful, or neglects their own needs and development. One with this aspect needs to devote a healthy amount of time to self-nurturing and self-development, without living life through the lives of their loved ones.
Sextile/Trine: These aspects find an easier balance between nurturing themselves and nurturing others. You're probably very devoted to your loved ones, and sentimental: you remember the important moments like birthdays and anniversaries. You have a talent for making people feel taken care of, and many creative gifts as well. You may have an interest and skill in the healing professions as well. Doing helpful and useful things for others boosts your self-esteem.
Square/Opposition: Here we see more of a conflict between your needs the the needs of those around you. Either you give and give til there's nothing left for yourself, or -like Ceres in Persephone's absence - you stop giving all together out of resentful. You can be jealous of the people you help, envious of how easy they seem to have it, even when you yourself have helped make it that way. You could also be so fearful of losing your loved ones' esteem that you try to win their love with favors and support at your own expense. At any rate there's a tendency to equate your self-worth with how much you feel needed and loved by others... seek balance.
Moon & Pallas Athene Aspects
Conjunction: While the Ceres/Moon type was more the Great Mother, you are rather like a lioness protecting her cubs! You won't coddle your loved ones and you'll teach them to stand up on their own two feet, but heaven help anyone who tries to mess with them on your watch! You also have no problem standing up for yourself, and if you're a woman you refuse to be told that women "can't" do something. Otherwise though you have an interesting blend of intellect and emotion, and you're probably very creative in some way. You have strong powers of intuition and your insights are usually right on target.
Sextile/Trine: Your powers of insight border on the psychic... your mind and your heart are attuned to each other to give you a great understanding of others and the world around you. You have lots of creativity just waiting to be channeled into your goals, but as with all gifts, you must develop them to receive their benefits. You are protective of your loved ones, though maybe not as fiercely as someone with the conjunction. Justice is one of your highest ideals and you strive to be fair to others and see others get fair treatment.
Square/Opposition: Your heart and your mind can be at odds much of the time. You may overanalyze your feelings and try to force your feelings to fit what you think you /should/ be feeling. As a woman, you may have conflicts with your gender identity, not sure where you fit in in the world. You may also have trouble expressing your emotions as clearly as you'd like. You may feel as though you're always getting the short end of the stick... but you do have the gift of creativity just like the others. Use it to find a way to make your life how you want it to be.
Moon & Vesta Aspects
Conjunction: You're serious-minded and deeply spiritual in some way... (note that spirituality does not necessarily mean religion, though it can) Somewhere along the way you develop a definite focus point in your life; the sign and house will give you clues when we get to them. :) At any rate, whether you've found your focus yet or not, you do feel a sense of purpose, some sort of calling waiting to make itself known. Whatever your goals, you are dedicated to them and will persevere to achieve them, and your goals are usually to the benefit of others in some way. You are also just as devoted to your loved ones, but may need to take a lesson in relaxing and enjoying life more.
Sextile/Trine: Your intuition and imagination are strong... you share almost a psychic bond with others and can pick up on their thoughts and feelings. You may find a talent for the counseling field, as you have the understanding and the compassion to be a great source of inspiration for others. Your creativity serves a purpose, and it helps you to find new ways to enrich the lives of those around you.
Square/Opposition: You may be so devoted to your high ideals that you lose sight of your own emotional needs. You may also fear opening yourself up to another person, or on the other hand, fearing emotional involvement with others will keep you from your lofty goals. You may live by too strict a moral code that forces you to repress your innermost desires. But reaching out to others and to your own emotions is the only way to unlock your creative gifts. You need to have balance to feel whole, and it can be a struggle for you to get there. As with the Conjunction, you take life too seriously sometimes... don't let the world pass you by, enjoy some of it! :)
Moon & Juno Aspects
Conjunction: Your emotional well-being is strongly tied to your relationships with others. When things are good between you and your loved ones, all is right in the world. If not, your mood suffers. You have a great deal of empathy for those close to you, and thus their problems can become your problems, their joys your joy as well. You are devoted and loyal, and expect the same in return. However you too are learning the delicate balancing act of yourself and others; beware not to define yourself by someone else's opinions or judge your self worth by the amount of love you receive from others.
Sextile/Trine: You're a very sensitive and compassionate soul. You have a genuine desire to help others through their emotional ups and downs; this is another good aspect to have if you want to be a counselor or a healer. People feel genuinely supported by you. You may also find art to be a good release for your own emotions. Your loved ones cherish your loyalty and understanding; your sympathy is strong. You seem to have an innate sense for recognizing people's strengths and working together for the common good.
Square/Opposition: You may have a bit of a problem separating your emotions from those of your loved ones... Either that or your whole sense of security is tied into your relationships and how strong you feel their love is for you. You can be insecure and jealous, distrusting of others' loyalty, or needing elaborate gestures for others to "prove" their love and devotion to you. There may also be a tendency to manipulate others emotionally to make yourself feel more secure and "in control". These tactics can drive away the very people you want to draw closer. You need to focus on developing your own strengths and self-esteem before you can have the fulfilling relationships you desire.
Moon & Chiron Aspects
Conjunction: You're a very emotional person, and this can be a good or bad thing. Chiron shows us where we are wounded, and thus where we can help heal others. It's quite possible you're a very sensitive person who takes everything to heart, and an unkind word can stay with you for a long time. You may feel misunderstood, and you may not even understand yourself at times! But deep down, you have a strong intuition, a connection to an inner wisdom that can help you rise above your troubles. You may find it easier to help others than yourself, but once you do heal yourself, you'll be that much more equipped to help others.
Sextile/Trine: You find it a bit easier to recognize your inner wound and to work with it. You're sensitive to the emotional needs of others, and reach out to them with great compassion. You abhor the suffering in the world and genuinely want to help. Your intuition connects you to others on a deep level, allowing you to sense how you may best help them. Others value you friendship and may come to you for advice that they know they can trust; they may see you as a wise sage, regardless of your age.
Square/Opposition: Your emotions could be a bit of a problem for you... Whether there's a traumatic event in your past to blame, or something you can't quite put your finger on, you have a hard time trusting others, or even trusting your own emotions. You may feel confused as to why you feel the way you do, and may have issues with depression. You may feel as though everyone is against you, or even that noone can ever understand you. You want deep connections with others, but fear rejection. But like the others you have strong intuitive powers as well, you just need to get past all the fears and self-doubts. :)

Moon & Chiron Aspects
Sextile/Trine: You find it a bit easier to recognize your inner wound and to work with it. You're sensitive to the emotional needs of others, and reach out to them with great compassion. You abhor the suffering in the world and genuinely want to help. Your intuition connects you to others on a deep level, allowing you to sense how you may best help them. Most likely a quintile... it's considered a "minor" aspect by most, but what few books I've seen that interpret it say that it gives creativity, which is a plus between the Moon and Pallas. Think of it as a "less-powerful" sextile or trine to get an idea of its meaning for you. :)

Well I got a wonderful gift for my birthday, and it is so vast that I'm having trouble even doing simple things. My hubby heard me talking with a friend about the Solar Fire astrology chart program, and he convinced her to help him find it and he bought it for me. Well this thing is very complicated. I finally got my chart to display aspects and asteroids, which seems simple in writing, but wasn't easy in practice. However, in figuring this out I also figured out dozens of other things so it was a good lesson. What was several hours of work ended up giving me two moon aspects with asteroids. HEHEHEHE Oh well the asteroids are more busy with other planets and eachother.
Moon square Vesta
Moon sextile Hygia
My aspect with Vesta is a definite aspect of me. In the past this caused me huge problems. Fortunately, I have managed to overcome this. There are advantages to being a crone. We do evolve over time. There is always something to be grateful for in all situation.
I have a question. We didn't do the asteroid aspects with the Sun, but my chart shows some. Are we doing those, or are they not very consequential?

Pluto hits the nail on the head for me, that's for sure!! Oh, and did I mention my chart is FULL of squares? :hrmm:
Moon & Mercury Aspects
Conjunction: You're able to blend the intellect and emotions better than most... you're very smart with a vivid imagination. You may find your thoughts are colored with an emotional tone more than you'd like, but then you can also use your emotions to summon up an almost photographic memory of just about anything! Your intuition is usually on target as well. Your emotional sensitivity can be a blessing or a curse: you find it easier to realte to others' feelings, but may be too defensive of others' comments or opinions about you.
Moon & Uranus Aspects
Moon & Pluto Aspects

Kadynas
September 4th, 2004, 11:55 PM
Well it's not really an aspect... :) The Ascendant is /always/ opposed your Descendant, representing an idea of balance between the two houses involved. But all the houses are paired in this way: your 2nd house is the opposite of your 8th, 3 & 9, 4 & 10, 5 & 11, and 6 & 12. Just like the Nodes are... :)

Then how do you figure out if a planet is in conjunction or what not to one of them? Does that mean no matter what, my moon will always be in conjunction with xxxxxx house? I'm sorry...i'm still confused....
I think my real query is what is an Ascendant and Descendant, how do I figure them out? (are there are any threads on this? I've looked a bit and haven't found any...)

September 5th, 2004, 12:34 AM
I discussed this a little bit when we started doing houses in the Sun Lessons... The Ascendant is simply the beginning "line" of your first house. The Descendant is that /same/ line in the chart, only on the opposite side starting off your 7th house. Thus the Asc and Dsc are just two ends of the same line. Now as far as having planets conjunct, I'll use your example. If the Moon is conjunct your Ascendant, it always will be. It will also be /opposed/ your Descendant, but generally when we look at these kinds of aspects, the Asc & Midheaven are more important to look for, because if something's opposed one it's automatically conjunct the other and it basically has the same meaning.
Am I making at sense at all? I just woke up and I'm a little groggy.

(You just woke up? I haven't gone to bed yet!)
No, no you're making a bit more sense. Now, a midheaven is....? I think my moon is in sextile with my descendant...is that possible? which means that it is in trine with my ascendant. Or am I wrong? here's my chart (sorry i require so much help, i'm having trouble concentrating):
Kadynas
September 5th, 2004, 01:04 AM
Let's see, the Midheaven is the thicker line to the right of your Moon. Your Moon is conjunct your Midheaven (so opposite the Nadir/4th house by extension). And your Moon does sextile your Descendant (though loosely...) which means it trines your Ascendant at the same time. I know it can be a bit confusing at first. All you really need to know is that if something's aspecting the Ascendant it's also aspecting the Descendant in a similar way... same goes for the Midheaven/Nadir and the Nodes. That's why I kinda "condensed" these aspects when we went into them. If you have Jupiter on the Ascendant, it just gets "assumed" that it's opposing the Descendant and most books will blend the two definitions into one.
As for just getting up, I work nights. I'm up all night and sleep all day, even on the weekends. But tonight I stayed up "late" til 1 PM and so "slept in" til almost midnight! ;)

My moon is 12 degrees into Gemini, in the First house (with what can seem like everything else!)
Moon (12 Gemini) Conjuncts AC (14 Gemini)
Moon (12 Gemini) Conjunts Chiron (10 Gemini)

Alright, lets see if I got this down.
-My moon is in Aquarius, while my sun is in fire
-Moon is in the 12th house
-Conjunction junction, whats your function: None (is that bad?)

-Square: Uranus
Sextiles: Venus, Neptune, MC (I had a hard time with the description of MC)

Moon in Aquarius (Air Sign) and Sun in Sagittarius (Fire Sign), and as we know from the Sun aspects, these two are sextile so they work well with each other most of the time. :)
Moon in the 12th? Check! :)
Conjunctions? None. Not a bad thing... You can't have everything in your chart conjunct everything else! Some people come pretty close though... :)
Opposition to Mars? Yep that one's probably pretty strong. It's 7 degrees apart, but it's part of a T-square with Uranus. Either your Uranus feels pulls in 2 different directions, or Mars and the Moon gang up on Uranus. :)
Trine Pluto? Yes.
Square Uranus? Yep.
Sextiles to Venus, Neptune & MC? Yes.
Now the MC... Think of it as a focus point. In spring the flower shoots up from the ground and into the world: that's kinda like your MC. Whereas your Ascendant may describe a good bit of how you act socially, as well as how you see the world, the MC is more what you're known for, the reputation you make for yourself in the world. At the same time though it can also be a life goal, something that you're striving to accomplish in this lifetime. In Sagittarius, conjuncting a stellium no less, it's likely that part of your life goals is to be a pioneer in some way, bringing a fresh outlook and philosophy to your area of expertise; with the stellium right there you've got the heart (Venus), imagination (Neptune) and the whole force of your personality (Sun) behind you to reach those goals. And you may be known for these traits more than whatever "great works" you do. Someone may not recognize your painting in an art book someday, but people who meet you will know you as a highly creative artist who's very passionate about her work and vision, just to give one example. :)

If your Sun is in Earth, you combine your rational, practical nature with a "big picture" outlook and are able to creat changes that benefit all; careers in law or politics could be favored.
This definately makes sense *LOL* Very interesting...I've never even thought of politics as a possible profession for me.
This also gives insight. Thanks Kadynas!

You could find success or pleasure in the business of real estate or antiques, as well as anything that evokes strong memories. Some of you are also devoted scholars of history or geneaology: the continuity of life through the ages makes you feel secure in a deep profound way.
Stop talking about me! :rotfl:
Moon & Mars Aspects
Mostly true
moon trine saturn
Its Me again!
A creative outlet can also be a tremendous benefit, and your imagination is very vivid.
This is me to a T!
We are on a roll now! Very much me.
Moon Sextile/Trine Ascendant/Descendant:
You're in touch with your emotions and those of others and are generally good at maintaining as balance between the two, and this helps you a great deal in relating with and understanding others. You tend to form healthy and close relationships and these are an asset not only to your emotional well-being, but your physical health as well.
Somewhat true not so much with being good at maintaining a balance between my emotions and others.
Moon & Ceres Aspects
Sextile/Trine: These aspects find an easier balance between nurturing themselves and nurturing others. You're probably very devoted to your loved ones, and sentimental: you remember the important moments like birthdays and anniversaries. You have a talent for making people feel taken care of, and many creative gifts as well. You may have an interest and skill in the healing professions as well. Doing helpful and useful things for others boosts your self-esteem.
Yep!
I have aspects to Chiron and the MC but I do not know what those symbols mean? Any help would be appreciated!

Stop talking about me!
 I'm a 4th house Moon too, but mine's in Virgo.
I have aspects to Chiron and the MC but I do not know what those symbols mean? Any help would be appreciated!
For this class, we're really only concerned with the "major" aspects, which are the Conjunction (circle with a line jutting out to the right, like Mars without the arrow), the Opposition (looks like a slanted dumbbell, two circles connected by a line), the Trine (a triangle), the Square (a square, naturally. lol), and the Sextile (looks like an asterisk). Looking at your Chiron aspects in the grid, I see you've got some bQ's... those are bi-Quintiles, and I haven't really formed my opinion on those yet. :) The green thing that looks like a 'K' on it's back is called a semi-sextile... kinda a watered-down version of a sextile. The opposite version, a 'K' that's turned onto it's two 'legs' almost like a table, is called a Quincunx, which is actually a pretty powerful aspect, but I don't feel I've learned that enough to teach on it at this time. :)

Okay, my Moon Sign, House and Aspects:
Partially true...Especially the need to see ALL sides! Some may have been true when I was younger, but not anymore.
This is COMPLETELY me! I am an empath as well as a 'nuturer' (w/o kids). I'd have to check with my friends whether the last applies tho.
Moon and Aspects
Conjuncture: Moon
Opposition: none
Trine: 10 Jupiter
13 True Node
13 Mercury
16 Juno
Square: none
Sextiles: none
Mercury Trine: A good balance of the mind and emotions... good insight into other people's motivations.
Jupiter Trine: You tend to have a healthy amount of optimism and are generally a friendly person to those around you.
Moon Trine the Nodes:
You may have fond memories of the past or strong past life connections to other people, but you've learned to sort between what is past and what is needed for your future. You're tying up some karmic loose ends, so to speak, so that you are free and unencumbered in moving towards your life goals. The Moon is these aspects gives a strong intuition that is an amazingly accurate guide, as well as urging you to be true to your inner self - and thus your purpose for being.
Not sure how many people see the sensitive part; I keep it pretty well hidden.
Juno Trine: You're a very sensitive and compassionate soul.
The bottom area of my chart says I have a square in MidHeaven, but I still have not figured out how to figure this out. Can you tell me which thread of which lesson has this info.

Is it a square between your Moon and the Midheaven? If so, this post from page 4, towards the end where it says "Moon & Midheaven/Nadir Aspects". http://www.mysticwicks.com/showpost.php?p=1143085&postcount=62
If it's squaring another planet, look in that planet's thread. :) I'm only up to the houses of Mars so far...

Okeydokey, first part:
I'm Moon in Aries, with a Gemini Sun:
If your Sun is in an Air Sign, an Aries Moon is a good complement; it can help you actually express all those ideas you're dreaming up, and adds the edge of intuition to your mental prowess.
Hm... as I've found with the other stuff, some of that is true and some isn't. I'm a definite idealist, with lots of impatience, and "Your emotions burn like fire" is certainly true (I always think "emotions are watery? since when?"). But lack of confidence bleeds away a lot of the typically Arien stuff, I think.

Um.... yes! :D That would be me, to a T - the psychic/weird/occult/dark side of me, anyway.

Aaaaand finally my Moon aspects, which are:
Sextile: South Node
Square: Mercury
Trine: Neptune, North Node
Opposition: Pluto
Moon Square Mercury: You might be a little tense and high strung; Mercury and the Moon are giving you an abundance of energy that you don't seem to know what to do with.
Yes, yes, yes! That'd be me, too...
Moon Trine Neptune: Your imagination is quite powerful, you see things in vivid images, and any creative work you engage in is likely to be quite moving emotionally.
My creativity and its power is coming up quite a bit in this chart, isn't it? Cool. Quite strange for somebody with a totally empty 5th house though! (I quite often find myself uninspired and feeling stunted creatively, but when I do write, it tends to be very good.)
Moon Opposition Pluto: Moody doesn't even cover it...
Intuition, yes. Jealousy, yes. Resisting change, yes. Creative energy, yes. No in-betweens, yes.
Moon Sextile/Trine the Nodes:

Nice to hear, but not really resonating at this point... intuition again, though! Are we noticing a theme?
