Im not sure if this has been coverd here before but, I thought I would share.

This poultice is good for most infections, beestings, bug bites, swollen spider bites, etc, anything that needs to be drained.
What you need;

1 potato. (I reccomend the usual brown potato)
1 tsp of baking powder

Cut the potato in half, use a spoon to scrape out some pulpy potato (About a tablespoon) sprinkle some baking powder on it. Apply the wet pulp to the wound. Hold it there untill it turns dark. (Will go grey to black depending on how bad the infection is). Throw away immediatley, replace if needed.
note: the wound has to be open in order for it to draw out the poison and negative energies.

I have heard of this method being used on really bad blood poisoning too, my mother used it on someone who had accidentally put a rusty screwdriver through his hand in the middle of the desert. (Her ex husband actually). All she had on hand to heal was her trusty potato (lol). The infection had caused horrible dark red stains in his veins, up past his elbow. He didn't think it would work but let her try. By the next day the blood poisoning was drawn out. The wound healed after that cleanly.

Wet bread and hot wet teabags work also. I have had the potato poultice used on me many times. It takes the sting out of bee stings in minutes, pulls the stinger right out too. It works amazingly. I used a hot teabag on a nasty spider bite I had. (It was the worst spider bite ive seen), it saved me a trip to the hospital.

I hope you find this helpful. :)

Hi Moonflower!

The potato & tea bags do work great. I have used the potato on bees & wasp stings & it really works wonders.
