Another New Hope Meet-up?

I'm going to be at Fort Meade for the next couple months, which as it turns out is about a two-hour drive from New Hope. :) I know there's been one big MW gathering there already. . . would anyone be interested in another around September or October?

Unfortunately (unless she pulls another Atlanta Surprise), Wiggie will not be along. It'd be too expensive for her to come up in September, and anything in late October would conflict with her trip to Colorado and Nallia's wedding.

I'm wavering between trying for something on Labor Day or something closer to Samhuinn. What do you guys think?

I'm wondering if it's a western mentality... that people move out of here to get out of the crowds out east, and so they tend to not to be enthusiastic about social things. :confused: They seem to be more individual-minded. Just a strange observation for a strange day.

I'll wear it if it isn't hot and humid. I'm definitely going to try and get out there that weekend, being it's Labor Day weekend, I have 3 days off, so it shouldn't be a problem (I hope).

The Cannon sounds like a plan... that would be a nice tradition too, if we all met at the Cannon each New Hope Meet up... it is very symbolic to me....

The cannon is a symbol of Security, as well as a weapon of war... and here we are, meeting up in the spirit of Love and Friendship ... it sorta brings out the positive aspects of the symbolism for me :)
