For most PG test kits, its one week after you missed your monthly, for the most accurate results. Some test kits can do give results the day your cycle is due to start.
Docs can do a blood test before your monthly is due.

A home test confirmed me two days after I was late.

They're pretty accurate these days :)

That's an easy question for me. I've had or having three children and each time I could tell because I ate way to much two months before (I conceived) then started right in with the throw up. I get sick pretty much 24/7 and almost all 9 months.

This is my third child I'm at 7 months and still getting sick and nauseous. So if I start eating like a pig I can pretty much say I'm expecting. We plan it though there's a 4 year different between my first and second and now a 6 year difference between the second and third.
I could never be a mother have to so small because I get so sick and fatigued and dehydrated and well HELL pregnancy is 9 months of my own personal HELL but it's safe to say labor goes to HEAVENLY, very quick, exhausting but quick and I'd take that any day over 9 months of not being able to eat............

I knew pretty much right away... I could just tell and the little pink lines all over my breasts that had never been there before were a pretty clear indication. My period wasn't due for at least a week. I took several pregnancy tests, including one at my gp's office, all negative. I insisted, so he ran a blood test, but I also went to my obgyn. I still wasn't late, but that test was positive and my blood work came back that day, also positive. I think if you know your body and are aware of the changes you will know before the tests do.

And with my last, my body was playing tricks on me, I was feeling yucky and I skipped a cycle, pregnancy tests were negative but I swore they were wrong, and got pregnant with the next cycle.

There are tests you can get that will give you a fairly accurate result a day or two before your period is due...I think one of them is called First Response. But the longer you wait, the more accurate the test will be.
