I always hear about the Goddess, and I knowa fair deal more about the Goddess than I know about the God, so I as wondering if anyone coulf fill me in on the God.

Well, I mean in referance to the Lord and Lady that are...as it seems to me, anyway, the root God and Goddess. Sorry for not being clearer on that one.

For the "Lord" and "Lady" you'd really have to look at Wicca. As far as older pantheons are, I don't of any that have a God called "Lord", though Lord of the Hunt in the form of the Horned god.... I don't know.

For what I understand of the history of just calling them "Lord" and "Lady", it's a collective representation of the Masculine and Feminine Devine energy. Some would say that all Goddesses in one is the "Lady" and all Gods in one is the "Lord".

Each culture has it's own 'upper eschelon' of Gods.
