Wolf's Rain

What I thought at first was an exciting pair of new night visitors may in fact have been messengers of warning.
For some time now I have been living in a small house on the edge of my fathers farm/ dairy land, per his consent of course, rent free. Though there have always been owls here, they have not taken to hunting around my house, and I cant remember a time when I have ever heard an owl screech while hunting. But as of last week a lovely pair have been paying me a noisy visit about every other night. I thought this some what odd given what I said above, but I didnt put much thought into it because they weren't bothering me and it was nice to have them around.
But, as of last wednesday I learned my father may be selling the portion of land that the dairy sitts on, the land which includes this house. If he goes through with it Im out.
Were the owls trying to warn me? They are out there right now as I type this, I can hear them just outside my window. Its like im in the Wizarding World here. Just call me Wolf Witch. lol
