My aunt, uncle, and Chopper work at Midwood High School (Brooklyn NY). Occasionally, the film industry likes to use the school for on-location work. The last movie they did there was "Mr. Holland's Opus". The last two weeks they've been filming a movie with the working title of "Squid and Whale". It stars Jeff Daniels, Laura Linney, and...and this is the cool part...William Baldwin, whom I've had a crush on since I was 14 and saw "Backdraft". Guess what? Chopper got his autograph for me! It says "To Jennifer, Love and Happiness...William Baldwin." I feel like I'm a teenager again. What a dork I am, huh? *grins* So when you hear about a movie that takes place in the 1980s with that name, remember you heard it here first!

William Baldwin, eh....? ;)
Oh, I know I'd have that same schoolboy crush if I got Ellen Muth or Thora Birch's autographs. Only autographs I have are Oasis (got them all at a concert in '95), Eric Idle, Siouxsie, Budgie and John Cale (from Velvet Underground).

Thora Birch, eh?
The only problem is that they have to make the school look like it did in the 1980s, so that means changing / ripping out / basically destroying a lot of the new things my uncle and the rest of the crew had *just* fixed. But they promised to put it back...:D
