hi!!!!,
well, as you all know, im going to have my first child in spring of next year, and i have already been racking my brain about names. i want something beautiful and unique, and i figured that i could get help from all of you beautiful, unique people. so, if you would like to share some of your favorite names with me it would give me a nice basis to choose from

so far i like the name

brianna willow

but, im open to other options....enlighten me :)

Oh! Congradulations! Babies are so wonderful! My son is 10 months. I had him by schedualed C-Section. I want another, but not only is it to soon, we are not finantialy stable enough for another baby at this time.

I recomend a book I have somewhere in this house that I cannot think of the name of. LOL. It's called "Baby Names From Around the World" or something along those lines. It's a BIG yellow book listing names by country/nationality. It'a wonderful book, although, their gaelic prounounciation is off.

My son's name is Bryson Malakai Daniel Gareth R. The name has symbolism in many places. I wanted to name him Seth Bryson for my Best friend who shot and killed him self when I was 5 months pregnant. Bryson was born on what would have been his 22nd birthday. Malakai was for two reasons, the meaning of the name and my love of horror films. It was the only thing I wanted to watch while I was pregnant. Strange, but it was like a bad craving. Daniel is my Fathers name. Gareth was my husbands choice. I'm still not sure why he picked it but It means a lot to him.

I wrote down every name I liked in a note book and why. If I met someone or saw a name, I wrote it down and looked it up later. I also looked up alternate spellings. I'm fond of gaelic names, but naming my child something that no one could pronounce seemed cruel. Although, we still thought about it.

Enjoy being pregnant. No matter how miserable you are, it's still a wonderful experience. I wish I had cherished it more.

Wow, you all are waaay more creative with names than I am, but I'll share anyway.

Cosette - French. As in Les Miserables. That's me.
Lissette - Also French. My sister.
Ingrid - Norse. Beautiful daighter of Ing. I don't know who Ing is, but Ingrid is my niece.
Gabriella - From the Hebrew, "God is my strength." My other niece.

My favorite names:

Girls - Chloe, Zoe, Gwyneth, Olivia, Phoebe, Roxanne, Celine, Salome, Simone, Tara.

Boys - Lucas, Gabriel, Julian, Nicholas, Patrick, Sebastian.

My daughter has a beautiful name, Alexandra Xavia, she hates it though, lol. Could have been worse, if she had been a boy it would have been Walter Joseph Edwin, ick.

I have a friend who is naming her boy Kaiden, my son's name is Ian Samuel.

I have been reading baby books in the store like crazy... you should check out New Age Baby Names!! (It's at Barnes and Noble and Borders) They have some really unique and beautiful names...as well as some that make you go "huh?"

Congratulations on your pregnancy! It's funny, when I was pregnant I had about a zillion girl names picked out and one boy name....I had a boy.

Anyway, I saw a bunch of great names listed above but I'll add a few if they haven't already been listed:
