Can anyone tell me anything about Amber?

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but yet again I'm being a baka and I can't figure out where to post this. 8O gomen nasai, Mol! I just can't figure things out!

hmm well I was thinking more the myths and magickal properties of the stone. . . I"ve heard that it's good luck, but not really anything more than that, and I was curious.
